Personality

Simon Williams was a good man at first, but he is stubborn and impatient in listening to others attempted to reason with him just as he refused to listen to Stark’s true reasons of buying his company. As Wonder Man, he was highly unstable due to the physical change his body had undergone, and was willing to join with villainy to become human again. However, he does still retain some respect for the people who tried to help him with his condition such as Ant-Man, and chose not to engage in direct combat most of the time. He is albeit more moral than his teammates. His personality seems to have softened later on as Black Panther was able to convince him to change his ways.

Physical Appearance

Before becoming Wonder Man, Simon wears a regular business suit and has black hair and blue eyes. As Wonder Man, his body is all purple based from the comics but with no “W” in it and has no hair and red eyes.

Powers and Abilities

Originally, Simon was a human with no superhuman abilities. However, he was a successful scientist and business man. After being infused with ionic energy, Simon became a being composed completely of said energy, which granted him a variety of superhuman powers. He possesses incredible physical strength and is nearly invulnerable. He was also able to fly and could produce incredibly powerful energy blasts from his hands. Finally, Simon was also able to rapidly grow in size, allowing him to exceed even Giant-Man’s maximum height.

In the film, she is hired by the Collector to secure the Orb, and agrees to aid Ronan the Accuser and her sister Nebula under the pretense of helping Thanos but in truth to prevent the Orb from falling into the wrong hands. She locates the Orb to be in the possession of Star-Lord, and assaults him on Xandar while he tried to sell the artifact to a merchant. Her attack is hindered, however, as two criminals, Rocket and Groot arrive trying to capture Star-Lord for the high bounty on his head. In the battle, all four are arrested by the Nova Corps and transported to the Kyln prison facility. With her reputation as an assassin and connection to Ronan renown, Gamora becomes a quick target to prisoners and guards alike on the ship, especially by a prisoner named Drax, whose wife and child had been murdered by Ronan. When Rocket Raccoon’s ship is pulled into the Chitauri ship, Rocket fakes surrender so that they can free the captive Guardians of the Galaxy members. Afterwards, Spider-Man discovers that the Chitauri are planning to destroy the Earth. The Guardians plan to run the Chitauri ship into the sun while fighting the Chitauri forces. When their tactic does not work, the Guardians end up making their way towards the Dark Matter Cannon. Rocket  Raccoon

Rocket is easily enraged and aggressive. He often gets insecure when people do not treat him as an equal and give him the same respect they would give a common animal. But this wisecracking raccoon is nothing short of lovable.

Rocket is a genetically engineered talking raccoon who wears an orange battle suit. In many aspects he is very much alike a normal raccoon, his body being only subtly different from a regular animal at first glance. Whilst his face is not very different from that of a normal raccoon (albeit perhaps with a greater ability for facial expressiveness), he does however posses a slightly human-like body structure, his legs being longer and oriented to line up with his body more than on a normal raccoon, enhancing his ability to walk upright. His hips and torso also appear to have been restructured to enhance bipedality, and his shoulders and upper arms also appear fairly human-like. These differences are not drastic however, and seem to not greatly compromise his ability to move on all four, as he is shown to be able to do so in the movie. It could perhaps be said that Rocket’s body is semi-anthropomorphic in most respects. In addition to being genetically altered, Rocket is shown to have cybernetic implants within his body.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

  • Raccoon Physiology: Rocket possesses the same enhanced abilities attributed to Earth raccoons, including an acute sense of smell and sharp eyesight. A raccoons grayish coat mostly consists of dense underfur which insulates against cold weather.
    • Enhanced Senses: Being a raccoon many of Rocket’s senses are heightened to levels well above human. Able to see much better than the average human and extremely well adapted to near dark conditions. His enhanced sense of smell allows him to detect subtle changes in scents around him enabling him to detect the approach of others and increasing his ability to operate in darkness. With his broad auditory range, he can perceive tones outside the range of the human ear as well as subtle sounds caused by vibrations on the ground. His hyper sensitive paws allow him to identify objects before touching them with vibrissae located above his claws.

Abilities

  • Expert Marksman: Rocket is well-versed in the use of high-powered firearms, from all over the Galaxy.
  • Expert Hand-To-Hand Combatant/Martial Artist: Rocket is an expert in hand-to-hand combat and martial arts, being very skilled in multiple fighting styles.
  • Master Tactician: Rocket is an accomplished tactician. Star-Lord once told him, “You got the best tactical mind I ever met”, both on and off the battlefield. He is able to formulate battle strategies and his brilliant tactical sense allows him to alter any strategy to fit the changing need of the situation.
  • Pilot: Rocket is an accomplished starship pilot.

Ego was alluded to several times throughout the film as Peter Quill’s real father, but his name was not directly stated. He was the one who hired the Ravagers led by Yondu Udonta to bring his son to him following the death of Peter’s mother. However, Yondu instead trained Peter Quill to be a Ravager and did not tell Peter of his true heritage.

 Yondu Image result for Yondu

As leader of the outlaws known as Ravagers, Yondu and his cohorts pillage their way through the galaxy, taking whatever they want for solely their own benefit.

Yondu found Peter Quill when Peter was a child. Although Yondu raised Peter as a human son, he has a less-than-perfect paternal relationship with him. Yondu also is completely satisfied with his argument against Quill for rebelling against him (his argument is he stopped Quill from getting eaten), repeating it hundreds of times to Peter for 20 years. In 1988, Yondu was sent to Earth with a mission to take Peter Quill to his father, but instead decided to keep and raise as a Ravager. Being in Morag, Yondu discovers Quill decided to keep the Orb and sell on their own. Later, Quill gives his whereabouts to save Gamora of imminet death. Being on the Yondu’s ship, decide to work together, on the condition that Yondu would get the Orb once they had succeeded. During the Battle of Xandar, Yondu kills many to Sakaarans with his Yaka Arrow. Finished with the battle, Peter gives him a false Orb. Later he discovers that inside the Orb is a troll doll but he simply smiles, being thrilled since he collects them.

GrandmasterImage result for Grandmaster Marvel

Just like the Collector, he is an ancient alien being who is morally ambigous, only instead of collecting things, he likes to challenge superheroes and pit them against each other. He is very intelligent and calculating.

Powers and Abilities

  • Power Primordial: The Power Primordial is residual energy left over from the Big Bang that created the current Marvel Universe.
    • Superhuman Strength: The Grandmaster possesses some degree of superhuman strength, the limits of which aren’t clearly defined. He has shown to clearly outmatch Hulk and Captain America in combat.
    • Superhuman Durability: The Grandmaster’s body is virtually invulnerable to physical injury. He can withstand powerful impact forces, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes, exposure to the vacuum of space, and powerful blasts of energy without being injured.
    • Superhuman Reflexes: The Grandmaster’s reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete.
    • Energy Manipulation: The Grandmaster has also devoted much of the Power Primordial into granting him the ability to manipulate vast amounts of energy for a variety of purposes. The most common of those purposes includes the projection of immensely powerful blasts of concussive energy, heat, and cold. He can use his powers to literally resurrect dead beings no matter how badly damaged or dispersed they might be. He can also use these powers to restore to full life beings that are on the verge of death. He can bestow this power over life and death to mortal beings, though only for a few minutes. The Grandmaster can also molecularly manipulate the matter of most objects, beings, and substance even over a global scale. The Grandmaster can also use his powers to teleport himself and others across galactic distances or to transverse space itself under his own power at faster than light speeds.

GrootImage result for GrootGroot is a Flora colossus from Planet X, the capital of the branch worlds. The Flora colossi are tree-like beings whose language is almost impossible to understand due to the stiffness of their larynxes, causing their speech to sound like they are repeating the phrase “I am Groot”. Other beings try to be friendly but become angry with the Flora colossi for not being able to speak. (Groot was shown to be capable of speaking not just understandably but eloquently throughout Annihilation: Conquest.) The Flora colossi are ruled over by the “Arbor Masters” and teach the children of the species with “Photonic Knowledge”, which is the collected knowledge of the Arbor Masters of the generations and is absorbed through photosynthesis; this is a highly advanced education method, making the Flora colossi geniuses. Planet X’s biome is managed by “Maintenance Mammals” which are small squirrel-like beings.

The Flora colossus sapling that would come to be known as “Groot” came from an “Ennobled Sap-line” and gifted with a tremendous grasp of quasi-dimensional super-positional engineering. Groot did not get along with fellow saplings but instead preferred the company of the “Maintenance Mammals”, which the other saplings treated with prejudice. Groot was exiled by the “Arbor Masters” after killing another sapling to defend a maintenance mammal it was brutalizing.

An alternate origin was presented in the Groot ongoing series. In the story, it is revealed that the other Flora colossi had been abducting organisms from other planets, including a young human girl named Hannah. After seeing Hannah, Groot realized what his people were doing was wrong and managed to save the child and send her back to Earth. However, for his disobedience, Groot was exiled from Planet X and forced to wander the universe until he met Rocket Raccoon many decades later where this version of Groot later became a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Groot can absorb wood as food, and has the ability to regenerate. Groot can control trees, he can form plants, using them to attack others, and appears to be resistant to fire. Groot is able to sprout dramatically increasing mass which then severely inhibits movement.

Groot has been seemingly killed on multiple occasions, each time regrowing from a sprig.

Nebula

Nebula is an athletic woman and an excellent armed and unarmed combatant. She possesses a gifted intellect and is a brilliant battle strategist.

Nebula uses blasters worn on her wrists that fire concussive blasts of unknown energy or heat blasts that can incinerate a human being almost instantly. She also apparently wears a device that enables her to disguise her appearance, either through illusion-casting or through actual molecular rearrangement of her body and clothing.

Nebula was converted by Doctor Mandibus into a cyborg. She was given an artificial left eye, left arm, and left shoulder. The left upper quarter of her head and part of her right hip are sheathed in metal.

Nebula briefly possessed the Infinity Union, a combination of three devices that together could channel all forms of ambient energy into her; this infused her with vast energies. She also briefly possessed the Infinity Gauntlet, which held six “Infinity Gems” of virtually unlimited power, which gave her seemingly absolute control of reality while she possessed them. However, her short-sightedness meant that she often made crucial errors in judgment when wielding the power; she undid the events of Thanos’s godhood without realizing that this would revert her to her near-death state and free the imprisoned Cosmic Pantheon whom Thanos had recently defeated.

A brutal space pirate and mercenary, Nebula seized control of Sanctuary II, a massive spaceship previously under the command of Thanos. Thanos was believed to be dead at this point, and Nebula claimed that he had been her father. Nebula’s band of mercenaries and pirates consisted of Skunge, Kehl, Gunthar and Levan.

Nebula asked the second Captain Marvel to join her mercenary band and aid them in conquering the Skrull Empire. However, Firelord learned that Nebula had massacred the Xandarians. Nebula used her space fleet to attack the Skrull space armada and the Avengers.

Nebula then schemed to gain absolute power using Earth scientist Dr. Harker’s atomic compressor to release vast amounts of energy that were absorbed by the Infinity Union (Although this attempt nearly triggered the end of the universe when the experiment caused a second Big Bang that came close to annihilating everything before a small group of Avengers – Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man and Sersi – were able to escape the destruction and shut down the equipment in time to negate the unmaking of existence). She fought the Avengers, and absorbed energies from the Infinity Union through the implant in her brain. As she fought the Avengers, she lost her powers when Sersi removed the brain implant. Nebula then escaped.

The character often battled Thanos, and on occasion the superheroes Captain Marvel and Adam Warlock. He was also a member of the group known as the Infinity Watch.

While driving through a desert with his wife and daughter, Arthur Douglas’ car is attacked by a spaceship piloted by Thanos, who thinks the humans have seen him.His daughter, Heather, survives the crash and is adopted by Thanos’ father, Mentor, and raised on Titan. She later becomes Moondragon.

Alongside Captain Marvel, Drax battles ISAAC, Stellarax, Lord Gaea, Elysius, and Chaos.

Some time later, Drax, possessed by an alien entity, battles his daughter Moondragon and the superhero Thor. After Drax recovers, he and Moondragon journey through space in search of knowledge.Eventually, they come upon the planet Ba-Banis, a world of humanoid aliens caught in a vast civil war. Moondragon uses her mental powers to quell the conflict and then decides to set herself up as the world’s goddess. Drax recognizes that her ambitions are ignoble and so sends their ship to Earth with a holographic distress message. The Avengers respond and discover Moondragon’s world of mentally enforced tranquility.Freed by the Avengers from his daughter’s mental domination, Drax advances toward her, seeking to end her menace.
