    Leprechaun The Ending Of Leprechaun Explained

On March 17, 994, The Leprechaun is a thousand years old. Since that is his birthday which is on the same day as Saint Patrick’s Day, he can choose any woman to be his bride. He picks a young girl of the O’Day family. The Leprechaun describes the girl he has chosen to his slave William O’Day whom he promised his freedom by removing the enchanted gold collar off his neck once he once found his future wife-to-be, but when O’Day sees that the girl is in fact his daughter, he intervenes with “God bless you, my child” therefore denying the Leprechaun his bride, as the creature can marry any girl who sneezes 3 times, provided no one says “God bless you”. The Leprechaun captures, tortures and tells William O’Day that he will marry his descendant in a thousand years’ time on St. Patrick’s Day, before he kills O’Day, whose corpse is then discovered by his daughter.Iubdan is a cruel, greedy, mean, sadistic, and murderous leprechaun. When Chris initially meets Dean and Missy, the former goes on about how he detests deer, saying that whenever one is killed, he feels a service is being done for all of mankind. Though a quick diatribe, it is done intentionally and is genuine, due to the fact he has a mounted male deer in a room in his house. Dean also runs the auction, where other members of the cult bid on of the family prisoners, who seek to have the surgery performed on them, in order to control their bodies. This is done silently in the backyard of the household, as not to alert suspicious victims and with bingo cards for a further cover. Dean is married to Missy, who is instrumental in the hypnosis of the prisoners, and seems to be incredibly loyal to her as they have been together for at least 20 years. During the preparation for the procedure on Chris Washington, who was sold to art dealer Jim Hudson, Chris impales Dean with the mounted bust of a taxidermied male deer and dies.

Missy (a psychiatrist specializing in hypnotherapy) hypnotizes all of the captured prospects in order to entrap their consciousnesses within their bodies, referring to it as the “Sunken Place”. Missy does this by utilizing a special teacup and spoon that is constantly being stirred to induce her victims. This is even on film so as to remind victims of the cup in association with hypnosis, further rendering them under her control. The teacup’s effect is invoked by Missy while drinking ice tea in the backyard as preparation for Chris, though it unintentionally allows Georgina to slip into a trance herself, allowing her to resist Marianne’s control. While Chris and his current girlfriend, Rose, are visiting the Armitage Family residence, Missy is shown to detest the act of smoking cigarettes, even calling it a “disgusting habit” and asking if Chris smokes in front of her daughter. Here, she is shown to care for Rose, stating “That is my kid.” Missy goes on to hypnotize Chris, nearly trapping his consciousness by invoking painful memories of his own mother that render his body completely paralyzed. When Chris escapes Dean’s procedure, Missy’s tea cup is destroyed by him, ending her ability to hypnotize future victims. Missy attempts to kill Chris with a letter opener, stabbing his left hand. However, this backfires, as Chris is able to overpower and direct the weapon towards her, stabbing Missy in her left eye and killing her.

Rose and Jeremy Armitage

Rose and her younger brother, Jeremy grew up together in the Armitage Family household, and are not far apart in age, as she and Jeremy were both in high school at the same time. Jeremy recounts their time and seems to be proficient in fighting as he enjoys talking about mixed-martial-arts, judging that Chris would be a good fighter if he trained properly. Even before the Armitages’ true nature is revealed, Jeremy is shown to be erratic and violent. The bond between he and his sister is further seen when Jeremy recounts that Rose’s first kiss was with a football player named Connor Garfield, whom she bit the tounge of by accident.

Edith Brennan was a former patient at St. Gertrude’s Asylum in the 1800s. Her appearance and simple actions imply she had Down syndrome, though this is never officially stated. She breaks out of the asylum and stabs a nun who had taken Mama’s baby (also named Lily) into her care then steals the baby back. Chased by the authorities, she ends up at the edge of a cliff overlooking a lake; seeing no other path, she jumps and hits a tree branch on the way down. While an unconscious Mama fell into the lake and drowned, the baby (killed by the impact) was stuck to the tree trunk and was recovered by the pursuers.Mama becomes a ghost, twisted by the sad emotions of not knowing where her child is (she is unaware of why the baby was not in the lake with her). This causes her to take a form of physically being twisted, with body parts askew and many joints bending the wrong way. She searched the woods for centuries trying to find her baby, until she stumbled upon Victoria and Lily about to be killed in the cabin by their deranged father, to which she broke their father’s neck and began taking care of the children as substitutes for her deceased baby.

Mama is seen as a loving parent and shows good knowledge in playing and taking care of Victoria and Lily. However, in times when Annabel interferes, Mama can turn angry, insatiable and extremely jealous, often trying to protect her adoptive children and violently lash out, pertaining to her malevolent side.

Mama, once a beautiful and thin woman with long hair, became a monstrous and skeletal figure with greyish skin, frail and disjointed limbs and long sharp fingers. She also has a pair of round, glowing blue eyes and dirty hair that flows in an ethereal and eerie manner. She wears a simple dark dress which became more tattered and equally floated like her hair.

As a ghost, Mama showed to be capable of a vast amount of wraith-like powers, most infamously her ability to fly. She is seen using possession once and can hide in the shadows, as well as being able to transform through shape and size.

Unlike most creatures, the Thing possesses no inherent standard anatomy. It may very well be that the Thing is a colonial organism whose assimilation instructions are carried on the genetic level. The Thing’s shape-shifting nature means that the biology can be the same as the organism it has replicated, or is in the process of replicating. The Thing has the ability to reconstitute itself following immense damage, and is invulnerable to most conventional forms of attack. However it is vulnerable to fire and potentially molecular acid since they both destroy the creature at a cellular level. It is very tolerant of cold, placing itself in cryogenic stasis until found by unsuspecting victims. When changing form, it bursts open and allows a variety of strange and terrifying forms and bits of previously assimilated anatomy to form, such as: tentacles, insect-like limbs, eyes, teeth, claws, even faces, eventually re-arranging its cellular structure to mimic its desired shape. The Thing is also capable of continuing normal functions even when lacking eyes, ears, sense of smell or other ways of interacting with the environment and is capable of producing said organs/appendages to accomplish those functions.

He was the son of a wealthy family called the Heelshires, and was also a serial killer.

He was a sociopathic child who was friends with a young girl named Emily Cribbs. When Brahms was 8 years old, he and Emily wandered into the woods by themselves, where it is assumed Brahms killed her by smashing her head in. After which, he started a fire so as to fake his death and avoid punishment, which resulted in his face becoming horribly burned and scarred.

To protect their son, the Heelshires hid Brahms away in the walls of their mansion and had him declared dead, so that no one could find him. Brahms then began wearing a porcelain doll-like mask so as to hide his mutilated face.

His parents, who by then had grown exhausted, and likely aware they could not care for him forever, hired countless nannies throughout his young adulthood in an attempt to find someone to care for him. However, none of the nannies met his standards. Whether they were killed by Brahms or fired by the Heelshires is unknown. Eventually, Greta Evans applied for the job and was hired, as she was much younger than the other nannies and prospects.

His parents apparently left Brahms with a “nanny” as a parting gift, so that they could kill themselves while making sure he was cared for. Esther (b. Leena Klammer) is a woman who could be defined as a violent and deluded psychopath. She is highly intelligent, highly manipulative, superficially charming when needed, and lacks remorse. She can easily induce fear, empathy, and even admiration (as we see during her first interaction with the Colemans) when it suits her ambitions. She has extreme talent in musicLeena suffers from a pituitary disorder that causes her to be a proportional dwarf. Because she is physically not quite a grown woman and not quite a child, it is hard for her to have an adult relationship with a “normal” man, which is one of the things she yearns for. She was sexually abused by her father from infancy. When her father took on a new sexual partner, he informed Leena that it was because she would “never be a real woman”. She was pushed into insanity and killed both her father and his girlfriend. She was subsequently caught and eventually placed in a mental institution (the Saarne Institute). Eventually she managed to escape, then unknowingly continued to allow herself to be abused by becoming a prostitute for wealthy pedophiles for years. When the police caught her, she pretended to be a child to avoid jail time and was sent to the orphanage, where she found her first family of victims and later moved on to the Colemans.

Within the Harga he became a trusted member known for having a good sense and taste in people, to the point that he was tasked as the Harga’s “Green Man” – the person who was responsible for bringing the sacrifices for the Midsommar festival. At some point he went to America and befriended a group of anthropology students, Christian, Mark and Josh. He invited them on a trip to Sweden under the guise of giving Josh a topic for his anthropology paper, but his real intentions were to make them human sacrifices for the Midsommar rituals. At some point, he developed an affection for Christian’s girlfriend, Dani Ardor.

Hårga, he is a white supremacist who believes in rejecting modernity and keeping tradition. He believes in empathizing and sharing pain, as he seems to empathize with Dani’s pain of having an emotionally abusive boyfriend.

He is emotionally resilient against trauma due to the fact that the Hårga were like a family to him after his parents died in a burning building when he was 5 years old. His resistance to high emotions allows him to feign them in order to reach his goals.

For all his flaws, he seems to genuinely love Dani and want the best for her. He is there for her when she goes through her severe anxiety attacks. The process of this change has never been seen, but the Entity will have assumed a new form by virtually every occasion it is observed by at least one cursed individual after having evaded everyone’s sight even if only briefly. uring the mid 1970s in America, Lecter continued his killing spree. During this series of murders, of which he was convicted of, he killed at least nine people and attempting to kill three others.

Mason Verger, the fourth person Lecter attacked, was one known survivor, having gone through psychiatric counseling with Lecter as part of a court order after being convicted of child molestation, and for viciously raping his own sister, Margot, who also went to Lecter for counseling. Verger invited Lecter to his home in Owings Mills one night after a session, and showed Lecter two caged dogs that he intended to starve and turn against each other. Lecter offered Verger a recreational amyl popper (amyl nitrate), but this was actually a cocktail of dangerous hallucinogenic drugs. He then suggested Verger try cutting off his own face with a mirror shard. Verger complied and, again at Lecter’s suggestion, fed most of his face to his dogs and ate his own nose. Lecter then broke Verger’s neck with a rope Verger used for auto-erotic asphyxiation and left him to die. Later, the dogs were taken to an animal shelter to have their stomachs pumped, which led to the retrieval of Verger’s lips and parts of his forehead; however, the skin graft was unsuccessful. Although Jack’s father, Mark Torrence, was mentally and physically abusive towards every member of his family throughout Jack’s childhood, Jack seemed to have developed a love for the earlier years of their relationship. He saw his father’s loud arrivals home as a means to break the silence, and would bond with him in spite of the abuse. However, this affection would end at age 7 after Mark’s treatment towards his wife left her concussed and hospitalized.

Jack Torrance is a loving but troubled father who cares deeply for Wendy and Danny but does not know how to show it properly. Jack’s alcoholism and violent temper had lost him a job as a teacher of literature at a prestigious New England prep school. One day he catches a student he’d cut from the debate team — the boy had a severe stutter that impeded his ability to debate — slashing his tires. Jack cannot not contain his fury and he beats the student on the spot, only regaining his senses after he seriously injures the boy. The school board of trustees decides to suspend Jack until they can figure out how to proceed. Jack’s closest friend, fellow recovering alcoholic Al Shockley, gives Jack the opportunity to become the caretaker of the Overlook Hotel during the off-season so he could make a recovery and return to the school and prove he was ready to teach again. Jack, Wendy and Danny arrive at the Overlook Hotel on closing day. Jack is fairly surprised by how many people are still at the hotel on closing day. He and his family are given a tour around the hotel kitchen by Hallorann and the rest of the hotel by Stuart Ullman before they are left alone. As time goes by and the isolation of the hotel sets in, Jack’s behaviour slowly changes. Jack finds an old scrapbook detailing the hotel’s history, including many incidents of violence and corruption among the hotel’s several owners over the decades it has been open. Jack becomes obsessed enough with the hotel’s sordid past that he wants to write a book about it. He makes a long-distance call to the hotel’s manager, Stuart Ullmann, and antagonizes him with this knowledge.

Eventually, he goes mad thanks to the influence of the hotel’s ghosts and attempts to kill Wendy and Danny. His plan does not work though and Wendy and Danny escape with Dick Halloran who came to save Wendy and Danny as the hotel boiler explodes, killing Jack and destroying the Overlook completely.

Jedidiah Sawyer is a young simple-minded member of the infamous Sawyer family of South Texas. A mentally deranged cannibal, he follows the lead of his older brothers, Drayton Sawyer and Nubbins Sawyer. In addition to consuming human flesh, Jedidiah likes to skin the faces of his victims, treat them in some sort of preserving fluid and wear them as masks. The genders of his face masks are variable depending on the occasion. Known for taking lives with both a hammer and a chainsaw, Jedidiah is responsible for the deaths of three youths named Kirk, Jerry and Franklin Hardesty, the latter of whom is the only one he killed with a chainsaw. [5]

After the Sawyer family were forced to flee their farmhouse, Jedidiah began hanging out with another sibling known as “Chop-Top”. Together they terrorized Texas locals, and Leatherface even slaughtered two speeding motorists with his chainsaw with a little assist from the rotting corpse of Nubbins. It was during this time that Jedidiah developed a crush on a rock and roll DJ named Vanita “Stretch” Brock. Chop-Top and he visited the station, where Jedidiah made lewd gestures at her using his chainsaw as a phallus.

The Sawyer family soon became the target of cowboy Lefty Enright, who was the uncle of past victims Franklin and Sally Hardesty. Lefty fought with Jedidiah in a chainsaw duel in the caverns beneath an abandoned amusement park. They eviscerated one another and met their ultimate fate when a grenade detonated in the cavern, killing both of them.

Classifications

  • Psychopath: Raised in that family, it is not wonder that Jedidiah grew up to become a stone-cold killer, with no regard or even understanding of the sanctity of human life.
  • Cannibal: Implied only. The family were cannibals by tradition. Presumably, Jedidiah Sawyer was a cannibal as well, though he was never seen eating.
  • Transvestite: A transvestite is someone who dresses up as one from the opposite gender. Jedidiah does more than just wear women’s clothing however. He wears their freakin’ skin!
  • Serial killer: Leatherface is possibly a serial killer in addition to simply being a full-blown psychopath. As no comprehensive analysis has ever been conducted on him, it is unclear what pathological need he is satisfying when he kills. All of Jedidiah’s actions are governed by the instructions of his family.
  • Relationships: Jedidiah is a stay at home husband for his wife, Sea monkey, kawaiigirl9000 on insta. As shown in the first and second editions of the franchise when Sea monkey says “I hope his boy pussy is as big as his belly”.

Tools of the trade

Like any homegrown murderous whacko, Leatherface has certain preferences when it comes to the weapons or tools that he uses. Classically, he is known for using two items.

  • Chainsaw: The chainsaw is traditionally associated with Leatherface. He used it to kill Franklin Hardesty as well as cleaving in half the head of a douche bag yuppie in a car.
  • Hammer: Leatherface swings a mean hammer. He clobbered both Kirk and Jerry with such a tool before dragging them into his private abattoir to be turned into stew.

It is believed by many that the Sawyers may be inbred. There is no concrete evidence of any sort of incest in the family lineage, though the exact relationship between each member is subject to interpretation.

Dr. Heiter is arguably one of the most disturbing and perverted characters in cinema, even by horror standards subjecting his victims to the unthinkable in order to pursue his insane scientific vision.

Once a renowned surgeon in the medical community, “the leading surgeon in separating Siamese twins”, Dr. Heiter had become utterly obsessed with taking his skills and bringing them to the next level by putting bodies together to function as one unit rather than separating conjoined bodies into separate units.

His first successful experiment began by surgically connecting his three adult Rottweiler dogs, it is unfortunate that this pet died. But his vision only grew bolder and he developed a plan to create a human “Siamese triplet”, a form to which he gave the common name “Human Centipede”.

In order to begin his experiment, he kidnapped travelers matching blood types until he found a match. He then surgically joins them, mouth to anus, forming a perverse “centipede” where each human is a segment of the whole unit. This causes unimaginable suffering to those involved, but science knows no evil and Dr. Heiter considers this creation to be nothing more than a new pet to stay loyally by his side.

  • Surgery – As already mentioned, Heiter has knowledge in surgery. He appears to be very well taught, especially in separating Siamese twins. Heiter decided to use his knowledge, to try and merge people together, which would ultimately make the Human Centipede.
  • Manipulation – Heiter appears to be a very skilled manipulator. He managed to lure Lindsay and Jenny, and drug them both. He even managed to drug Voller, a police officer. When the police officers came, Josef Heiter managed to manipulate with them, and get them to leave the first time with his story, until they later on came back to investigate more.
  • Durability – Heiter seems to be durable. When he got attacked by his Human Centipede, he was laying on the ground in pain. Until he started to crawl to them, with his foot and neck damaged from the Human Centipede.

      • Before Heiter’s Human Centipede creation, six months ago Heiter decided to start connecting people, instead of separating twins. His first victims were the three Rottweilers, all of which passed away and got burred by Heiter inside of his yard.
    • Truck Driver
      • Heiter’s first human victim was a Truck Driver, which was defecating in the woods. The Truck Driver was obese, and Heiter’sfirst idea was possibly to collect fatter victims, in order for them to live longer. The Truck Driver ends up being kidnapped by Heiter, and get placed inside of Heiter’s makeshift medical ward. Once Heiter got his two new victims, he ends up killing the Truck Driver for not being a match.
    • Lindsay & Jenny
      • Lindsay & Jenny are the two main protagonists of the film. The two American female tourists were going to a party in Germany, until their car stopped working. They were stuck inside of the woods, during the rain. The two were trying to find help, and they found Heiter’s house. Both of them knocked on his door, and he let them inside. Heiter ends up drugging both of them and bringing them inside of his makeshift medical ward. Lindsay had an attempt to escape Heiter’s house. She was close to escaping, but she couldn’t let her friend Jenny stay there. Jenny which isn’t consciousness, got dragged by Lindsay outside, until Heiter captured them both. Heiter ended up using both Lindsay and Jenny for his Human Centipede experiment. In the end of the film, they tried to escape again, but failed. Jenny ended up dying from being ill, and Lindsay’s faith is unknown.
    • Katsuro
      • Katsuro is also one of the main characters of the film. He is a Japanese tourist in Germany, which also got kidnapped by Heiter. Katsuro got kidnapped once the Truck Driver got killed, and he was instantly brought into the makeshift medical ward once kidnapped. Inside Katsuro was talking on his own Japanese language, and no one could of understood him. Heiter decided that Katsuro will be on the front of the Human Centipede, while Lindsay is in the middle, and Jenny is at the back. During the film, Heiter was forcing Katsuro to bring him paper, and he was treating the Human Centipede as a pet. Finally, Katsuro with Lindsay and Jenny, were close to escaping and Katsuro attacked Heiter, by stabbing him ,in the foot, and biting his neck. They were very close of escaping, though Heiter followed them, which escalated in Katsuro slitting his own throat, committing suicide.
    • Kranz & Voller
      • Kranz and Voller are the two German police detectives, which got sent to Heiter’s house, because two tourists got reported missing, near his location. When they entered his house, Heiter tried to drug them, and to use them as new segments for his Human Centipede. Voller drank the water which was drugged, and Kranz was suspicions and pushed Heiter’s hand, dropping the glass onto the ground, breaking it. Later on, both of the police detectives were suspicions of Heiter’s weird behavior, and they came back to his house. Voller ended up getting killed by Heiter, and Kranz got killed afterwards, though Hanz shot Joef Heiter in his head, killing him aswell.

Robert and Keith head to this graveyard and find the woman’s grave next to the grave of Robert’s true son – when they remove the cover of Damien’s mother’s grave they find a jackal’s corpse in place of a human’s, confirming Damien was not of the natural world. Keith understandably becomes alarmed and wanted to leave but Robert wanted to uncover the grave of his son in the hope it would contain a similar corpse and give him some hope that his son could be alive – to his horror, this isn’t the case and the grave holds the remains of a human child – the skull having a wound showing it was murdered at birth

Damien has returned and lives with his uncle Richard and his wife Ann and Damien is enrolled in Davidson Miltary Academy.

He has been chosen to succeed his uncle in his business, but a Satanist in the business desires Damien to kill his cousin Mark and start his reign of terror. Damien accidentally shows off his powers in military school by reciting all of a historical battle’s events as if he had been present. This shocks the teacher until the Satanist approaches him after class warning him to keep a low profile because now is not the time for the world to know who he is. Damien had grown into a powerful politician, and revered cult leader who commanded a crowd of fanatically devoted, Satanic ‘Apostles’ known as the Disciples of the Watch, who sought to take over the world – going as far as committing a modern-day Massacre Of The Innocents when he became aware of the coming of the Messiah. He also uses his Hellhound to manipulate Barbara Dean into killing her husband, Harvey, and her son with a hot iron. He rapes journalist Kate Reynolds, whom he had become romantically involved with and manipulates her son Peter into being his disciple, but later uses him as a human shield against Father De Carlo when he tries to stab him, resulting in his death. However he was unable to stop destiny and ultimately died in the climax of this movie: having been stabbed by three mystical daggers by Kate and laying by the image of what is presumably Jesus – defiant to the end Damien looked upon the face of the Messiah and uttered “you have won… nothing” before collapsing, the death of Damien was symbolic of a fresh beginning and as the film ends it is heavily implied that the Second Coming has occurred: sealing Damien’s fate forever. In March 1630, a Puritan plantation in New England banishes William for heresy, prompting him to move near a forest, along with his wife Katherine and children Thomasin, Caleb, Mercy and Jonas. By November, the family is situated with a struggling farm, a new son Samuel, as well as livestock, including Black Phillip.

An old, decrepit witch in the forest abducts and murders Samuel to create flying ointment. Mercy and Jonas take a liking to Black Phillip and spend their time playing and chasing him, as well as talking with him. He tells the twins that a witch abducted Samuel. When the twins antagonize Thomasin with this, she sardonically threatens them, saying that she was the witch.

Thomasin and Caleb venture into the forest in the middle of the night, where they are separated, resulting in Caleb getting lured in by a witch and becoming possessed. Caleb returns a day later and dies after proclaiming his love for Jesus, all the while with Mercy and Jonas apparently convulsing. When William confronts Thomasin about the accusations of her being a witch, she reveals that Mercy and Jonas have been talking with Black Phillip, resulting in William locking the children in with the goats, including Black Phillip. The twins reconfirm that Black Phillip is the guise of Satan and that they have been whispering to him.

That night, the witch suckles blood from a goat and abducts the twins. In the morning, William discovers the twins’ clothing and the rest of the goats slaughtered. Black Phillip attacks and kills him, before walking away. Katherine attacks Thomasin, prompting her daughter to kill her with a knife. Observing this, Black Phillip calmly walks into the house.

That evening, Thomasin enters the house and sits in front of Black Phillip. She asks him to speak, and he requests to know what she wants. He offers her a life of pleasure and comfort, if only she serves him. After Thomasin disrobes, he transforms into his human form and has her sign his book, binding her soul to him forever. As a goat, he leads her into the forest, where there is a coven of witches singing and dancing around a fire. He watches as Thomasin joins in and the witches levitate into the air.

A WITNESSES TESTIMONY: People were running and yelling all over the place, and that’s when I saw Carrie White. I had never seen her before, but somehow I just knew it was her, it was Carrie White, I can’t explain it. She had started downtown, and lemme tell you, she looked God awful. She was wearing some kind of fancy party dress, well, what was left of it, and she was completely covered with blood. She looked like she just crawled out of a terrible accident. She stopped at the corner and stood motionless under a street light, by the fire hydrant on the corner of Main and Spring. Then all of the sudden the street light flickered and it came falling down right into the street with a big crash, sparks were shooting everywhere, causing car accidents when the vehicles slammed on their breaks and tried to miss hitting it. Next I looked, and the whole top of the hydrant exploded in three different ways. Water came out through the left, right, and straight up to heaven in crucifixion pattern and she was laughing to herself, thinking how she was gonna give Chamberlain a bloody shower. After the hydrant exploded, I lost sight of her. But a little ways off the whole upper half of the town’s business section was burning. The Amoco station and the old beauty shop was nothing more but a pit of rubble and ashes. Woolworth’s was nothing but a blazing hell pool. The fire had spread to three wooden storefronts next to that Duffy’s Bar and Grille, The Kelly Fruit Company, and the billiard parlour were next. The heat was ferocious. Sparks were flying on to the roofs of the Maitland Real Estate Agency and Doug Brann’s Western Auto Store. Fire trucks were coming in, but they could do very little. Strangely, the fire hydrants on the entire street near the campus were all stripped. The only trucks doing any business at all were two old volunteer fire department pumpers from the next town over, Westover and about all they could do was wet the roofs and walls of the surrounding buildings, which was useless and of course the Ewen High School, it was gone, just… gone. Of course it’s fairly isolated, nothing close enough to it to burn, but my God, all those kids stuck inside… all those kids.

As Norma, Freddy, and Kenny Garson left, Carrie forced the door they opened, suffocating Freddy and Kenny as Norma screamed for help. Focusing on the fire hose, Carrie opened it, washing Norma and everyone away from the door, creating a turmoil in the gym. With the water from the firehose, Carrie knocked Norma down and electrified Mr. Fromm and the principal. Ms. Collins got lost among the turmoil and called for Carrie, the girl, possessed by rage, caused the basketball backboard to fell on Miss Collins, killing her. Carrie left as Mr. Fromm burned to his death, which set the gym on fire. As she walked home, Chris attempted to run her down with her car, but Carrie attacked her, causing the car to keel over and explode, killing Chris and Billy Nolan. Carrie arrived home and found the rooms filled with lighted candles and, washing the blood away, burst in tears. Margaret then appeared to seemingly comfort Carrie, telling her daughter that she was conceived after Ralph got drunk and they made love, which Margaret regretted. Margaret invited Carrie into one last prayer, and as the girl recited the Lord’s prayer, comforted in her arms, Margaret stabbed her in the back. Carrie rolled downstairs, unable to stand up and run, as her insane mother approached her, ready to kill “the demon”. Carrie then threw the kitchen’s knives onto her mother, stabbing her pinned to the walls.

Carrie witnessed as Margaret agonized to her death, and screamed in terror over her loss. Carrie’s powers then manifested on the loose, bringing the house down over her. Carrie rushes to her closet, carrying her mother and stayed there as the house came down, dying.

Aftermath

Carrie killed 73 people at the night of the Prom. The school was rebuilt elsewhere in Chamberlain and the ruins of the former school are still there. Additionally that part of the town of Chamberlain is deserted. Finally the incident also became in time some kind of “Urban Legend” in the town. Carrie’s father Ralph, had another daughter named Rachel Lang, who was also a carrier of telekinesis.

Brundle suffered from motion sickness beginning at a young age; once, during childhood, he vomited on his tricycle. As a result of his condition, he developed an intense dislike of vehicles. By the age of 20, he had become an expert in molecular physics, and was the leader of a project known as “F32”, which very nearly earned him a Nobel Prize in Physics. He also earned his doctorate at some undisclosed point.

Years later, he focused his attention on creating a teleportation system, partially so he would no longer have to worry about his motion sickness when traveling. At some point, he became the sole occupant of an abandoned warehouse, the fourth (and top) floor of which he converted into a laboratory and living quarters. A shy and eccentric recluse, he also adopted a habit of Albert Einstein’s when he bought five identical sets of clothes so as not to waste mental energy deciding what to wear each day. His experiments were funded by Bartok Science Industries, which was unaware of the nature of Brundle’s project and did not interfere since his requirements were relatively inexpensive.

Henry is a disturbing example of a protagonist villain and a fairly accurate portrayal of a serial killer; rather than a perversely likable criminal mastermind like Hannibal Lecter, Henry is a brutal, callous psychopath who derives sadistic sexual pleasure from torture and murder, and is completely indifferent to the rights and feelings of others

Henry describes his childhood as dysfunctional and abusive. His mother, an alcoholic prostitute, would force him to watch as she serviced her clients; when he tried to look away, she would hit him. She would also force him to wear a dress as a form of punishment. As a young man, he murdered her in a fit of rage, for which he was sent to prison for seven years.

The film showcased some extremely violent and disturbing murders, many of which were committed at random – Henry was clearly a very disturbed individual and to him killing seemed to be a compulsion as he would go as far as randomly pulling a stranger over on the roadside only to blast them with a shotgun.

Henry also video-taped many of his crimes with the help of Otis, his former cellmate and fellow sexual sadist. The two would enter a home (chosen at random) and brutally murder an entire family while filming. Otis goes as far as attempting to rape a woman after killing her but Henry stops him, likely for practical reasons of leaving behind less evidence; the two would later watch the film for entertainment at their apartment.

Toward the end of the film, Henry saves Otis’ sister Becky from being raped by Otis and kills him. They dismember and dispose of his body, and decide to run away together. The next day, Henry drops Becky’s bloodstained suitcase – implied to contain her dismembered corpse – in a field and drives off to continue his murder spree.

Anna had a close relationship with her sister Alex and their terminally ill mother. During a party, when Anna refused to have sex with her boyfriend Matt, she discovered her father Steven and Rachel, her mother’s nurse, having sex. Infuriated, she went to her family’s boat house to fill a watering can with gasoline, intending to burn down their main house with Steven and Rachel inside.

Alex runs into Anna just when she leaves to carry out the deed and their mother rang her bell for help. As Alex enters the cabin to help their mother, a knocked over candle caught fire to a leaking trail of gasoline; Anna didn’t fully close the tap and the resulting explosion killed both her mother and sister. This shocked Anna and she attempted suicide, landing her in a mental hospital.She develops a schizophrenic image of her sister and disassociate Identity Disorder. The alternate personality manifests itself as “Alex”, and both Anna and “Alex” blame Rachel for the fire, believing that she was a psychotic child murderer named “Mildred Kemp” who wanted to kill their entire family to take Steven for herself. While Anna experienced more hallucinations of “child ghosts” and wrecked havoc trying to find “evidence” of the fire, her split personality murdered her boyfriend Matt, who tried to convince her of the truth and she eventually murdered Rachel at the end of the film. When Steven returned home to find Anna covered in blood, he snapped her out of her delusion by reminding her that Alex is dead and she was sent back to the mental hospital.

  • Billy Loomis: Maureen Prescott had an affair with Hank Loomis, which prompted Hank and Billy’s mother to divorce. Billy killed her out of anger. A year later, Billy and Stu started a murder spree in Woodsboro, planning on copying their favorite movies and becoming heroes when they survived. Their plan was to frame Maureen’s husband, Neil Prescott, and culminate in killing Sidney. It was then revealed two movies later, that Roman mentored Billy to kill Maureen and eventually kill Sidney since Roman made it sound like Maureen was the cause of Billy’s parent’s divorce.
  • Stu Macher: Stu was a horror movie fanatic who followed his best friend, Billy Loomis, around. Submitting to peer pressure from Billy (and possibly being in some sort of secret relationship), Stu helped murder Maureen Prescott. A year later, they committed a murder spree in their home town, planning on recreating their beloved horror movies and becoming heroes for surviving the bloodbath. Their first targets were Stu’s ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend (Casey Becker and Steve Orth). They also killed Stu’s current girlfriend, Tatum They eventually went on to kill mulptiple people however, he came to his death when he chased Sidney and bit his hand, which gave her time to drop a TV over his head, eletrcuting him and kill him almost instanely.
  • Debbie Loomis: Billy’s mother orchestrated the Windsor College murder spree out of vengeance for Billy’s death. She also channeled her hatred for Maureen Prescott, who slept with her husband, onto Sidney. Mrs. Loomis found Mickey Altieri on-line and paid for his college tuition, giving him her motherly help and guidance. Secretly, she set Mickey up to take the fall for the entire copycat killing spree, planning on murdering him after she achieved her revenge. Even if anyone suspected there was a second killer, the persona she created of “Debbie Salt” couldn’t be traced back to her. Sidney oringally thought Gale was the killer, when Mickey told the second killer to reavel herself however, she used Gale as a hostage and Sidney noticed it was Billy’s mother.
  • Mickey Altieri: A psychopathic film geek, Mickey wanted to create a sequel and be the star of a trial-of-the-century type media circus. Mrs. Loomis found him on-line on a murdering kind of webiste and paid for his tuition at Windsor College, where he worked himself into Sidney’s close circle of friends to make it look like he wasn’t the Killer when the murders first started, however, Mickey actually planned on not getting away with the murder spree, wishing to be the center of the following media circus and debate on movie-making ethics. It’s possible he wanted revenge for something, as that most of the Ghostface Killer’s have another motive, however it was never revealed.
  • Roman Bridger: A director, Roman tracked down his birth mother (Maureen Prescott), who shunned him and told him that she already had a family. Roman, the offspring of a vicious rape, was not wanted. Roman mentored Billy Loomis to kill Maureen, and was enraged by the fame gushed upon his half-sister, Sidney Prescott. He planned on framing Sidney for a murder spree and walking away as the new hero. However, he came face to face with his sister and exposed himself to her. Saying that Maureen didn’t want him and she had a whole new life, with another child.
  • Jill Roberts: Jill grew up in the shadow of her famous cousin Sidney Prescott. She felt like her mother loves Sidney better, which translated itself into an irrational jealousy toward Sidney’s attention, and sought to take it for herself. Not wanting to work hard or get a job, Jill planned a murder spree in Woodsboro to achieve this. She partnered with her friend, Charlie Walker, who was in love with her. Jill betrayed Charlie, stabbing him to death, and set-up her ex-boyfriend, Trevor Sheldon, to look like the second Ghostface killer. She then horribly injured herself to maximize sympathy for her as the new hero. However, Dewey and Gale, find out that Jill was the real killer and not Trevor. They go to Sidney’s room and find Jill trying to kill her but they got there in time to pull her off. In the final showdown Gale is able to distract the psychotic teenager giving Sidney enough time to recover from Jill’s attack and be able to electrocute her. Jill recovers and picks up a shard of glass planning to stab Sidney with it but she is shot by in the chest by Sidney who knows the killer always comes back for one last scare.
  • Charlie Walker: A film fanatic, he aspired to win the heart of Jill Roberts and saw them as a remake version of Randy Meeks and Sidney Prescott. Jill strung him along, and together they planned a new murder spree in Woodsboro. This would work to continue the stagnant Stab series, as well as propel Charlie and Jill into the limelight for surviving Ghostface’s attacks. In the end, Jill betrayed him and stabbed him to death, stating that it would work best for her if she was the sole survivor.

    1. Halloween: Michael is shot six times and falls off of the second story balcony of a house. He gets up and walks away.
    2. Halloween II: Michael is shot another six times in the chest but again gets up. Later he is shot twice in the eye sockets, blinding him. Oxygen and ether tanks in the operating room within Haddonfield Memorial Hospital are opened by Dr. Loomis and Laurie, and Loomis later uses a lighter to ignite these gases, causing a gigantic explosion. Michael walks out of the room, on fire, but collapses on the floor in front of Laurie, and continues to burn. Viewers are left to assume that Michael and Loomis have burned to death.
    3. Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers: Michael is shot many times by rifles and shotguns and then falls into a mine shaft. Police then sealed his fate by throwing a pack of dynamite into the shaft after him.
    4. Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers: Michael is not depicted as dying in this film, crawling down the shaft and swimming into a river where he arrives on shore at a hermit’s shack. Michael immediately falls into a coma and is nursed back to health. In this film, Loomis states that “Michael Myers is so evil that hell won’t accept him”
    5. Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers: Michael is injected with corrosive chemicals and beaten senseless with a metal pipe. His mask ends up on the floor, and a scream at the ends implies that Michael was nowhere to be found and that Loomis found the mask. The future of both characters is not revealed, though it is implied by Dr.  Loomis in The Revenge of Michael   Myers will eventually die from the evil inside him.
    6. Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later: Michael gets crushed between a tree and an ambulance and then decapitated with an axe by Laurie Strode. It is retconned in the next film that Michael dressed a paramedic in his clothes, and left the grounds of Hillcrest Academy.
    7. Halloween: Resurrection: Michael is electrocuted and lit on fire, but we see him survive. Future events remain unrevealed. An alternate ending features him awakening after being mocked by Freddie and attempts to choke him, however, gets axed to the face by Sarah, instantly killing him.

Jason is also utterly relentless with his prey, pursuing his desired quarry without ever backing down, not even allowing grievous bodily harm inflicted upon him to hinder his determination. Even if Crystal Lake were to change its name, he would stick to the stretch of land, and kill any trespassers without so much as a pang of remorse. While Jason is mentally ill, his mindset is completely unlike that of anyone else, and the only remotely human aspect of this unhinged man is his attachment to his mother. Jason blindly complies with her, as she was the only person to show any kindness towards him as a child. Therefore, those who understand this can use his love against himHe is a deformed serial killer who is known for wearing a hockey mask to cover his deformities and killing those who dare to step foot in Crystal Lake out of vengeance for his mother Pamela whom he witnessed being decapitated. When he was a human, Jason was exceptionally durable and difficult to kill, but he could still feel pain and eventually was brought down by Tommy Jarvis, who continuously hacked away at him with his own machete. However, this would not be the end for years later, he’d be brought back from the dead by complete accident by Jarvis as an undead revenant which granted him supernatural abilities. Jason is also notable for using a machete as his preferred weapon with a close second being an axe, but he also has been known to use just whatever item he finds lying around and even his bare hands.

    Pamela Voorhees (nee Sue, born. 1930 – died. June 13, 1979) is the overarching antagonist of the Friday the 13th franchise. She was the main antagonist of the first film, Friday the 13th. In the original film she was known simply as Mrs. Voorhees, the mother of Jason Voorhees, who drowned to death as a child, which drove her to murder those who she deemed responsible.

    Unlike her son, Pamela used the element of surprise to kill her victims. However, similar to her son, Pamela liked to terrorize her victims by propping up dead bodies, throwing them through windows, and using various weapons to complete her murders.

    Pinhead, also known as The Hell Priest, is a Cenobite in the Order of the Gash and one of the main characters of the Hellraiser metaseries.

    The Cenobite known as Pinhead was once a human known as Elliot Spencer who was born in England during the Victorian Era in 1887. As a young adult, he would join the British Army and later serve in France during World War I.

    During World War I, Elliott Spencer served as a Captain in the British Expeditionary Force. He was virtually unstoppable and invulnerable in the physical sense, but never engaged in physical combat, instead letting hooked chains do his bidding. His usual form of attack was summoning these hooks and chains to mutilate victims, often pulling in several directions to rip them apart. These chains were subject to his total mind control and he could direct them at will. The chains might even change shape after having attached to a victim. Pinhead was highly resistant to damage and direct assault, able to shrug off all but the most potent attacks.

     

    His magic was also used for creating objects out of thin air, to teleport, creating explosions at distances and deceiving opponents with illusions. Pinhead was also familiar with the Occult and magic, with an ability to read people’s minds. He was at once charismatic and terrifying, and could often persuade others to perform horrific acts to his favor.

Frederick Charles Krueger,He was a child killer in life, and in death, a malevolent dream demon who killed his victims in their dreams, often by torturing them to death. He eventually became well-known for the sick pleasure he displays while targeting children.

Amanda Krueger was a nun working in a hospital, and was raped by over 100 psychopaths. She became pregnant with a son, who was named Freddy. Later in his life, he became a murderer in Springwood notorious for killing children. The media labeled him the Springwood Slasher. He was apprehended, but later released because of a technicality. According to the original film, it was because someone didn’t sign the search warrant in the appropriate place. The parents of the children tracked him down and found him in the boiler room where he took his victims. The parents poured gas into the room and set him on fire, which caused his melted-like facial features.

Freddy Krueger can invade people’s dreams and kill them within their nightmares, which will also kill them in reality. He usually uses his clawed glove, but can also manipulate the dream world in any way he wants, such as sucking them into a bed, a comic book or a videogame, making them fall, extending himself, or turning them into an insect. On some occasions, he can possess people, though unlike when Jason does this in Jason Goes to Hell, the victim can survive.

Freddy is impossible to kill in the dream world. However, he is mortal while outside the dream world. He loses all his powers (though he can still disguise himself as his human form) in the real world. Even if he is killed, he can return from Hell if there is enough fear in the area he wishes to appear.

If a person touches fire (unless it is caused by Freddy to kill them) or anything burning hot, it can take them out of the dream world. Freddy also cannot leave Springwood unless inside the dreams of someone who is, in which case he still cannot invade other people’s dreams unless the one whose mind he is inside is related to him. Freddy also seems to hate fire as it is what the parents used to burn him alive.

Freddy is seen as a typical male character with a loving wife and daughter. The daughter buys items like his signature hat and sweater. After constructing his bladed hand to help him scratch due to the itchy sweater, the daughter buys another gift, causing Freddy to go mad towards the School Bazaar. When he barges into the school wearing his glove and the school made gifts, the parents assume that Freddy is out to harm the children. When trying to calmly explain the situation, Freddy starts a fire, unable to escape.

The three souls from hell approach him and offer him immortality, which he accepts to get him out of the mess he made. After asking for a second to take off the sweater and fedora, the souls state that it is done, locking Freddy in his current appearance. After complaining for a bit, the skit ends with him stating “At least I have my Complexion…”

. Glenda is possibly more twisted than her father and has his red wild hair. Her appearance is Glen in wedding gown and has makeup on. Glenda makes her appearance when Jennifer Tilly’s assistant, Joan, in concern of her boss, attempts to help her, but she is killed by being sprayed with fire. When it seemed that Tiffany did it, it is revealed that it was Glenda (it is revealed two souls share Glen’s body, shocking both of his parents and himself after Tiffany snaps him out of it). Later, Tilly gives birth to twins, a boy and a girl.

5 years later, on the twins’ birthday, one of the maids tries to quit her job because she is afraid of Glenda, who she believes is a troubled child. Tiffany, (who is now in Jennifer’s body), tells her she can go, but then beats her to death with her doll body. Glenda sees this and smiles as she and her mother agree to keep what happened a secret between the both of them.

Chased and engaged in a shoot-out with detective Mike Norris, Charles is shot in his leg. His accomplice Eddie abandons him in their get-away van when Jack Santos approaches in his police car. On November 9th, 1988, Charles Lee Ray is chased down after a failed robbery, by detective Mike Norris. After he is fatally shot, his partner in crime Eddie decides to bail and drives away in the get-away van, despite Charles’ pleas. Stumbling into a toy store, Charles desperately uses his voodoo amulet, the Heart of Damballa, to transfer his soul into a Good Guy doll. The chant causes lightning to burst through the store skylight and cause an explosion. Although Norris finds Charles’ dead body, his soul successfully transferred into the doll, which is found by a peddler.

Her extreme and rapid shifting moods, self-harm, fits of rage, violence and extreme delusions indicate she has borderline personality disorder. In the novel, she has day-long bouts with major depression, during which she is seen self-harm; Sheldon also finds evidence that she gorges herself on vast quantities of food. A reclusive and hermitlike individual who lives by herself, Annie is prone to bouts of depression and appears to have severely low self-esteem and exhibits suicidal thoughts and behaviors at times, particularly on rainy nights.

She has an unhealthy obsession with romance novels, particularly Sheldon’s Misery series. She has difficulty distinguishing between them and reality. Her house is very well-ordered and she is a control freak who feels a strong need to have power over others. In addition to her borderline personality disorder, Wilkes also displays schizoid, schizotypal, and obsessive–compulsive personality disorder features and tendencies, due to her lack of remorse for the many people she has killed.

Candyman’s origins are explored in a legend surrounding the tragic death of a painter in the city of Chicago during the early 1800s, the story itself first appearing in 1890. The legend told that Candyman was initially the son of a slave, who became extremely wealthy after inventing a machine which mass produced shoes during the American Civil War. With his newfound fortune, the father had sent his boy to all the best schools in America, the young man growing up to become a polite and good natured gentleman as well as a well-known painter, most famous for capturing a person’s status in portraits. Sometime around 1890, the young painter had been commissioned by a wealthy landowner to capture the beauty of his daughter, a white virgin.

The painter’s only real sin was falling in love with the girl in question with whom they were to have a child out of wedlock. Unfortunately, the girl’s father had discovered their relation and was left so outraged that he hired a lynch mob to find and kill the young painter. As the mob chased him down the streets of the Near North end of Chicago they eventually overpowered him and sawed off his right hand with a rusty blade. The young painter’s body was then smeared with honey from a local apiary, causing the bees to sting him to death and prompting the future generations of the neighborhood to christen him “Candyman”. The painter’s dead body was then been burned on a pyre with his ashes being scattered around the entire region.

In the second Candyman movie Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh, the painter is given the name of Daniel Robitaille. Likewise, the movie retconned his origin by placing the painter’s birth and death in New Orleans. He was born on the Esplanade Plantation (the future home of the Tarrant family) within New Orleans. Also of note, the young white woman with whom Daniel had an affair with was identified as Caroline Sullivan.

Sometime after his death, Daniel’s ghost rose from the grave, a spiteful and vengeful spirit who tormented anyone who dared to question his existence. An urban legend arose which stated that whoever shall recite the name Candyman five times in the mirror, then immediately turn off the lights, will summon the ghost that will slay his summoner along with anybody else who has witnessed the specter’s appearance.

In 1970, a woman named Evelyn Osorio was held captive in the basement of a sexually perverted priest named Burke. Burke raped her under captivity which eventually impregnated Evelyn. Evelyn escaped captivity after eight and a half months and fled to a Christian hospital to give birth.

Evelyn soon gave birth to a baby girl named Samara, who ceased to cry and was born with strange supernatural abilities. It is unknown where these abilities came from since both of her biological parents were fully human but it was most likely that she was a human incarnation of a demonic spirit that resided within the waters, which Evelyn lived in constant fear of.

Shortly after her birth, Evelyn claimed to hear voices in her head telling her that the only way to get rid of the evil spirits residing within Samara was by drowning her. Whether these voices came from her conscience or from Samara telepathically telling her to do so is unknown. Evelyn eventually decided to drown the baby girl in the fountain outside the hospital but a group of nuns caught her in the act and seized the baby away. Samara was put up for adoption whilst her mother was institutionalized.

Eventually, Samara was adopted by Anna and Richard Morgan, who were prize-winning horse breeders in Moesko Island. A book dedicated to Samara, which was written by Evelyn, was stored in the basement of the Morgan ranch despite Samara having little memory of her own biological mother. Anna loved Samara dearly as if she were own child due to her several miscarriages between 1963 to 1969 and Samara loved her back in return. As Samara grew up, she developed strange supernatural powers known as nensha, which enabled her to unintentionally burn gruesome images into her parents’ minds whenever she was around.

Having no knowledge over her powers, her powers unintentionally spiraled out of control as Samara grew up. This caused her to be the perfect scapegoat by the local community who blamed her for the island’s misfortunes such as not being able to catch enough fish etc. In addition, Anna became more mentally unstable and distant towards Samara, due to the gruesome images that Samara unintentionally burnt inside her head. Living as an outcast, Samara spent most of her time alone on the swings outside the Morgan ranch. Ironically, she developed a phobia of water despite the fact that she may actually be the human incarnation of a sea demon.

Anna consulted Dr. Grasnik, the local doctor, about the gruesome images in her head but being unable to help her, Dr. Gransnik referred both Anna and Samara to Eola Psychiatric Hospital. Under 24/7 surveillance, Anna was treated for depression and suicidal thoughts whilst Samara’s powers were observed by a psychiatrist named Dr. Scott. During her stay in Eola Psychiatric Hospital, Samara was unable to sleep and displayed her nensha by burning images onto transparent film which Dr. Scott uses as evidence for her powers.

Dr. Scott records the psychiatric session on camera and asks Samara on how she was able to perform her powers but she gives cryptic answers such as “I see them… and then… they just… are.” He also presumes that Samara doesn’t truly want to hurt anyone with her powers but Samara sinisterly confesses to him that her powers are too strong and that she won’t stop hurting others, indicating that she is slowly becoming a sociopath. The recording abruptly ends on static and it was presumed that Samara killed Dr. Scott with her powers. His murder was further hinted when Samara mentally compares him to be a centipede, viewing him as a pest that needed to be exterminated.

The footage becomes missing soon afterwards. To prevent Samara from harming anyone else with her powers, her father Richard locked her in the upper level of the horse barn with only a TV set to entertain her. Samara struggled to fall asleep every night due to the noises that the horses made. In a fit of psychotic rage, Samara burnt gruesome images into the minds of the horses and drove them to commit suicide by causing them to jump off a nearby cliff.

The mass suicide was considered to be an epidemic and the Morgans later became the center of unwanted media attention. According to several news reports, about 36 horses were killed in this bizarre mass suicide. The horse barn was quarantined by the authorities but none of them were aware of Samara’s presence. Depressed over the loss of her horses, Anna was sent back to Eola Psychiatric Hospital. Anna was eventually released from the hospital five days later and as a way to relieve themselves from the recent tragedies, the family decided to travel to Shelter Mountain Inn for a vacation.

Whilst Samara stood beside a well in Shelter Mountain Inn, Anna finally snapped and suffocated her with a black, garbage bag and threw her down the well, in order stop her from mentally tormenting her and the horses. Anna later became horrified by her actions and committed suicide by jumping off a nearby cliff out of remorse. Meanwhile, Samara tried to crawl out of the well but broke her fingernails in the process as a stone lid slowly covered the top of the well, sealing her fate. She eventually died due to drowning after spending 7 days in the well. After Samara died, the horses in the Morgan ranch returned to normal but Richard decided to stop breeding them. She was about 10 years old at her time of death. Meanwhile, the rest of the citizens on Moesko Island seemed to be relieved that they won’t have to encounter Samara’s troubling presence ever again. Dr. Grasnik even admitted herself that “things have been better” ever since Samara’s death.

But this was not the end. Samara died, but she didn’t leave. After dying in the old well, Samara created a videotape using her psycho-photography powers which curses anyone who watches it, resulting in their death after 7 days.

The video contained cursed images and clues to Samara’s past. The only way to survive the curse is to give it to someone else by creating a copy of the video and showing them before seven days pass.

Originally a regular housewife, Kayako was killed by her husband after he thought she was having an affair; as a result, she came back an angry and vengeful spirit who only seeks death, destruction, and a continuation of the curse that made her unable to rest.Kayako is primarily portrayed as a housewife who was murdered by her husband after he discovered she had feelings for her son’s teacher after reading her diary and believed that they were having an affair. He later murdered their son Toshio Saeki because he had witnessed his mother’s murder as well as his now-uncertain paternity. After her death, she and her son became vengeful spirits as their violent deaths triggered a horrifying curse that revived them as Onryo. She killed her husband in revenge, causing him to become an evil spirit as well. This led to them killing anybody who set foot in the house they lived in. The curse would spread after more people were killed and became evil spiritsKobayashi’s wife Manami remarks that she remembers Kayako from high school and that she found her “creepy”. After the accidental deaths of her parents, which didn’t seem to faze her, Kayako married Takeo Saeki, the only person who understood and cared for her, and together, they had a son named Toshio (佐伯俊雄). Years later, Kobayashi became Toshio’s school teacher, and she fell in love with him again

She wrote of her feelings for him in the journal she kept all her life, in both franchises, this ultimately led to Takeo finding and reading her diary. He became obsessed with the idea that Kayako was cheating on him with his son’s teacher – or worse, Toshio might not have been his son, but Kobayashi’s. When she came home that day, he violently attacked her upstairs, pushing her against the wall. Toshio, who was is in his bedroom drawing, heard the noise and, coming outside, watched the violence that was occurring below through the banisters. Kayako tried to run away while Takeo chased her, but he pushed her down. She sprained her ankle, stumbled and fell, and had to go down the stairs by crawling. After much effort, she made it to the front door, only to find Takeo slowly walking behind her, watching her pain. He then snapped her neck to a 90-degree angle and crushed her throat, took her to their bedroom, and put her in a trash bag. Kayako was still alive, but paralyzed, capable only of her characteristic croaking noise. Takeo stared at her just sitting in a trash bag in the bedroom, then stabbed her multiple times (an event that does not occur yet is implied in The Grudge). Then, he put her body in the far corner of the attic, through an attic door in the ceiling of their bedroom closet.

After her death, she became an Onryō because of the painful and torturous nature of her death. Afterward, Takeo killed Toshio (a witness to the murder) by drowning him and his pet cat Mar in the bathtub. He then ran to Kobayashi’s house, killing Manami Kobayashi, Kobayashi’s pregnant wife, and put her fetus in a sack. As he flew into a fit of rage on the street, Kayako appeared as an Onryō coming out from the garbage dumped nearby and killed Takeo. Sometime later, Kayako’s body was found in the attic; Takeo’s on the nearby street (his cause of death unknown to the police, they assumed he committed suicide) and Toshio’s in a closet.

Since that day, the ghosts of Kayako, Toshio, and Takeo kill anyone who steps into the Saeki House (and anywhere the curse has been transmitted). The cat, Mar, usually appears to forewarn any intruders of their impending doom. The curse is meant to repeat itself as an unending cycle, so the films feature Kayako crawling down the stairs emitting her famous death rattle, cracking her neck around and covered with blood.

Stephen King It Movie 2017 Review | Time

IT 

It arrived on Earth in a massive cataclysmic event similar to an asteroid impact, landing in a location in North America that would eventually become Derry, Maine. Once people settled over this location, It adopted its usual pattern of a 27-30 year hibernation, waking to kill and eat. Each awakening and return to hibernation is sometimes marked by a violent and tragic act, such as a mass murder, suicide or weather event. In the period between, a series of child murders occurring in Derry are never taken too seriously or solved. It is outwardly explained that a series of murders, no matter how gruesome, don’t get reported if they happen in the small town. However, the real reason is that the influence of It prevents anyone from investigating too deeply.

Timeline (novel)

PENNYWISE LIVES!

  • 1715 – 1716: It painfully awakes.
  • 1740 – 1743: It starts a three-year reign of terror that culminates in the disappearance of over three hundred settlers from Derry Township (similar to the lost Roanoke Colony, which was founded as a logging town.)
  • 1769 – 1770: It awakes again.
  • 1851: IT awakes when a man named John Markson poisons his own family, then commits suicide by eating a white nightshade mushroom, causing an excruciating death.
  • 1876 – 1879: It awakes, then returns to hibernation after murdering a group of lumberjacks who were later found near the Kenduskeag Stream.
  • 1904: It awakes when a lumberjack named Claude Heroux murders a dozen men in a bar with just one axe. Heroux was promptly pursued by a mob of townsfolk and hanged. In 1985, when Mike asks a witness, if he saw anyone he didn’t know that night or seemed out of place. He remembered seeing “a comical sort of fella”. He also said he had seen him a few more times since.
  • 1906: It returns to hibernation when the Kitchener Ironworks explode, killing 108 people, 88 of whom were children at an Easter egg hunt.
  • 1929: It awakes when a group of Derry citizens ambushes and kills the Bradley Gang, a group of robbers and murderers. The town, including its police chief, pretends it never happened. However, a witness later recounts the tale to Mike Hanlon, including seeing a clown in farmer’s attire participating in the slaying.
  • 1930: It returns to hibernation when the Maine Legion of White Decency, a Northern counterpart to the Ku Klux Klan, burns down “The Black Spot”, a nightclub known to cater to African-Americans at the nearby army base. IT appears at the location as a giant bird with balloons on its wings, witnessed by Mike’s father William Hanlon.
  • 1957: It awakes when Dorsey Corcoran is beaten to death by his stepfather, Richard Macklin. In October, Georgie Denbrough dies from blood loss, when his arm is torn off by Pennywise. This prompts Bill Denbrough (Georgie’s older brother) to investigate, leading to the discovery of IT. He, along with several other victims of IT’s torment, performs the Ritual of Chüd, which wounds It and forces it to return to an early hibernation.
  • 1984: It awakens when three bullies assault Adrian Mellon and Don Hagarty, a gay couple. The bullies throw Mellon off a bridge and IT, in the form of Pennywise, attacks and kills him.
  • 1985: It is finally defeated and physically killed in another Ritual of Chüd by the adult Bill, Richie, Beverly, Eddie, and Ben.
  • In the 1990 adaptation, events occur slightly later, with Georgie’s disappearance occurring in 1960 and ITs death in 1990.

What you have to realize is that we’re all just a mouse that a cat has by the tail. Every single move we make, from the mundane to the monumental, the red light that we stop at or run, the people we have sex with or won’t with us, the airplanes that we ride or…walk out of; it’s all part of Death’s sadistc design…leading to the grave.

 During the survival days of Clear Rivers, she was following the design, and marked events related to it on the wall in her room of the Stonybrook Institution Psychiatric Treatment Center.

 

 Death comes in the form of overly complex freak accidents to kill off survivors of a major disaster they were originally supposed to die in as well as in the order they would have died in said disaster. If somebody intervenes in a person’s death, then Death will cheat by skipping that person and moving on to the next before returning to that person to complete the rift in its design, although the order has been shown to reverse itself.Death also has a handful of servants who unintentionally (in some cases on purpose) kill a person on Death’s list. Additionally, Death does not appear to be above killing others to hasten its acquisition of survivors, with Tom Gaines theorizing the entity is perfectly willing to “sneak souls” when the opportunity to do so arises. There have been mixed theories in what Death will do if the survivor with premonitions deliberately kills him/herself despite not being next on the list. Ian McKinley had a theory that, if the last on Death’s list (usually the person with the premonitions) kills him/herself, it would ruin Death’s plans, since the survivor isn’t next to die.

Despite being ruthless in its intent of killing anyone who cheats its design, Death isn’t perfect in its plans and can be defeated. Any who survive its intended disasters and cheats it always searches for ways to cheat it completely, but almost always fails. However, there are ways to defeat it, depending on perspective:

  • New Life: The only way to truly cheat Death. As the entity keeps the balance of life and death by killing those whose time is up and decides who will be born, if a life that was never meant to be comes into being, it will be defeated as it can’t kill a life it never intended to exist in the first place.
  • Steal another’s lifespan: In Final Destination 5, it’s revealed by William Bludworth that if someone who cheated Death kills someone who isn’t meant to die, they will receive that person’s unlived lifespan and be safe, essentially swapping places with that person and taking their place among the living. However, whether this is actually cheating death or just delaying Death is unknown, as the person would presumably eventually die of old age unless they kept killing – in which case they’d probably be arrested and die old in prison anyway.

Cheating Death

Intervention

Intervening in someone’s death can hinder the design, and cheat death, but it will only skip the one who was saved. After the first turn, Death will cheat by turning back to the one who was saved before. This rule can’t defeat Death at all.

New life

According to William Bludworth, only new life can beat Death. In an alternate ending of Final Destination, Clear Rivers had a baby with Alex Browning (although he is dead), so she and Carter Horton beat Death.

 Kimberly Corman beat death by attempting to drown in a lake then she “died” for a short period of time before she was resurrected by the doctor thus granting new life and becoming one of the only two survivors who did not die by end of the series.

One of the survivors – Isabella Hudson – had a baby, she was not meant to die on Route 23, so she couldn’t help Kimberly and Thomas with “cheating” Death. The birth of a child who was meant to die is likely able to cheat Death, but we have not seen this scenario. Due to the tradition of every single last survivor dying, no matter how hard they try to cheat Death, it is possible that this may never be seen.

 William Bludworth, if you kill someone who is not in Death’s design, you as the person who was to already to be dead but had cheated Death, receive the remaining life left from the person you killed. Peter eloquently calls this “kill or be killed”. Nathan kills Roy, receiving his few remaining days; Roy having an illness that would have killed him shortly anyways. Nathan thus dies shortly after, but not in the original order of death planned by Death, only as the time of death for Roy originally. Peter kills Block, avoiding Death’s schedule. Similarly, Sam kills Peter, avoiding Death’s schedule. Sam dies shortly after, as Block had been scheduled to die not long after his actual death. There is a bit of a rift here, as Sam was not technically killing someone who wasn’t meant to die in the first place.

Whether this plan actually does cheat Death is unknown as it can be presumed that you would have to keep killing to keep gaining life when you reach the end of the lifespan of the previously killed person; if that is true, the killer would presumably be arrested for being a Serial Killer and then die in prison of old age anyway.

Suicide

If it’s not your time to die, Death won’t let you kill yourself. This happened to Eugene Dix and George Lanter. It was also tested by Carter Horton when he wanted to “gain control” of his life. He drove his car quickly through the traffic trying to kill himself (he would probably kill Clear, Alex and Billy too), but stopped on train tracks waiting for the train to claim his life. Eventually he said “its not my time to die”, and unsuccessfully tried to start his car. 

This cannot be proven, since Peter didn’t succeed in taking Molly’s life, and that it was Peter’s turn to die anyway.

 Ian McKinley had a theory: if the last person on the list committed suicide, then the rest of the survivors would truly beat Death’s design. However, as last one on the list, Wendy Christensen never listened to Ian anyway, it’s unknown whether or not Ian’s idea is true.

 Nick O’Bannon thought he could defeat death by committing suicide.

He jumped out of the mall and landed on a police car and was killed. Nick’s action revealed the result of Ian’s theory. After Nick’s death, Lori Milligan and Janet Cunningham who were the only survivors left on the list, were crushed by an air conditioning unit. This shows that even if the last person on the list kills themselves, the rest of the survivors still can’t beat Death. However, seeing as this happened in an alternate ending. It’s not meant to be considered canon.

 Alex Browning ended up committing suicide by sacrificing himself in order to save Clear Rivers. In that ending both Clear Rivers and Carter Horton ended up living, however, it should be noted that Clear was pregnant with hers and Alex’s baby thus bringing in Th “new life” rule into effect so thus it is unknown if it was Alex’s suicide/sacrifice or the new life that saved them (not to mention that this ending is not canon at all).
