This latest entry follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the mighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence – and our own. The epic new film will delve further into the histories of these Titans, their origins and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.

Why did Serizawa sacrifice himself?

Personal Sacrifice:Knowing the potential danger of the Oxygen Destroyer falling into the wrong hands, Serizawa chooses to sacrifice himself to ensure that the knowledge of the weapon dies with him. His decision is not only about stopping Godzilla but also about preventing the further misuse of his creation

Did Godzilla recognize Dr. Serizawa?

Did Godzilla recognize Serizawa in King of the Monsters? * Godzilla did notice him. But in the end Godzilla was exhausted and was probably not in his right mind-set since the oxygen destroyer was used on him earlier.

How did Serizawa survive?

Before they reached the surface ,Godzilla opened up his mouth and allowed Serizawa to swim away safely. Serizawa makes it to an island and is stranded there. This explains why we don’t see him in GVK and he could probably reappear in a future to LM when they find him stranded ther

Is Mothra dead?

Godzilla: Why Mothra Has NEVER Really Died

Despite repeated “deaths”, Mothra never really dies, and that’s a big part of what makes her so special in Toho’s movies and in the MonsterVerse. In the Godzilla movies, Mothra never really dies, and that’s because the iconic character has a complicated life cycle that makes her unique to her fellow giant monsters.

Who betrayed Godzilla?

A hidden detail in Godzilla: King of the Monsters makes Rodan a traitor to Godzilla in the MonsterVerse. In the movie, Rodan fought as a minion of King Ghidorah after losing to him in Mexico. Rodan remained on Ghidorah’s side until the end of the movie, when Monster Zero was finally slain by Godzilla.

Why is Ren Serizawa evil?

Ren Serizawa | The Great Villains Wiki | Fandom

Villain Description

Since his beloved father Ishiro Serizawa has sacrificed his life for the titans in order to save Godzilla, Ren started developing hatred to the titans for being the reason behind his father’s demise.

Who is Godzilla’s real father?

Dagon | LordVerse Wiki | Fandom

Dagon, also known to the Japanese as Raijin (雷神 Raijin), was a Titan who appeared in Godzilla: Lord of the Galaxy. He is the father of Godzilla and a partner of Rozan. Dagon was an ancient Titan that was awakened in 1954 during nuclear tests.

Who was Godzilla’s girlfriend?

Godzilla had a more long-term relationship with Miki Saegusa, who appeared in Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989), Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah (1991), Godzilla vs. Mothra (1992), Godzilla vs.

She is a psychic who uses her powers to communicate with and, in some instances, control the mutant dinosaur Godzilla, and is credited for being the most frequently recurring human character in any kaiju (Japanese giant monster) series.Miki is made a member of the newly created G-Force, the military arm of the UNGCC or United Nations Godzilla Countermeasures Center, a United Nations military alliance dedicated to the containing or destroying monsters such as Godzilla. There, she befriends Baby Godzilla and is appalled to learn that he will be used as bait to lure Godzilla. Despite her protests, Miki is assigned to use her powers to guide Super Mechagodzilla’s long range weaponry onto Godzilla’s second brain. To her shame, she succeeds in crippling Godzilla and begins crying for it. Godzilla is later revived by Fire Rodan and destroys the mecha. Miki then telepathically convinces Baby Godzilla to leave Japan with Godzilla.

The egg displays strange psychic properties, even imprinting itself upon the biologist Azusa Gojo, before finally hatching to reveal an infant Godzillasaurus. When Godzilla later appears, having sought out Baby Godzilla through an unexplained psychic link, Baby Godzilla leaves with Godzilla, later settling on Birth Island.

By the time of Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, Baby Godzilla, now rechristened Little Godzilla, periodically interacts with the human characters for a portion of the film, taking a particular liking to Major Yuki of G-Force and establishing a psychic bond with Miki Saegusa. Little Godzilla is imprisoned in a cage of crystals by SpaceGodzilla upon its arrival to Earth and remains caged until SpaceGodzilla’s defeat by the combined might of Godzilla and M.O.G.U.E.R.A.

Junior quickly proves itself to be quite a capable fighter, successfully defeating Destoroyah, though with difficulty. Junior is killed during its second battle against Destoroyah at Haneda Airport, where Godzilla and Destoroyah soon fight. After Godzilla melts down, Junior is revived and grows into a new adult Godzilla.Godzilla Junior’s lifeless body had absorbed the senior Godzilla’s radiation, resurrecting it as the new King of the Monsters.

  • Rebecca Hall as Dr. Ilene Andrews

Following Kong’s battle against Camazotz, Ilene Andrews talks to Houston Brooks and assures him that it is not his fault that blasting the Vile Vortex would hasten the destruction of Skull Island. Andrews accepts Houston’s offer in becoming the lead scientist of Skull Island and they agree to keep Kong contained so that Godzilla will not target him. They are soon joined by David Lind as he prepares for an expedition to the Hollow Earth. Andrews is uncertain of guaranteeing the success of such dangerous mission, but relents since David is adamant about making tremendous progress for humanity.Ilene Andrews is a dedicated scientist and linguist. Her pursuit of truth and knowledge is complemented by her nurturing nature as an adoptive mother. Having studied Kong for many years, she has sought to learn everything she can about him, but even she is surprised to learn that he never fully trusted her. She is cautious when it comes to new discoveries and despises those who would treat the secrets of the Earth as a simple, disposable resource.

  • Brian Tyree Henry as Bernie Hayes

Bernie Hayes considers himself a crusader, dedicated to exposing truth. Disillusioned with Apex Cybernetics, he engages in acts of corporate espionage against them and seeks to expose their practices. He has worked for the company for many years in deep cover. He maintains an underground podcast called “Titan Truth” in which he reveals his conspiracy theories and shares any information he has exposed about Apex. He believes that fluoride is placed in tap water in order to keep people docile and identifies those who share his beliefs by asking “tap or no tap?” Additionally, he showers with large amounts of bleach, believing that it is the only way to disable organic tracking technology. He lost his wife, Sara, many years ago, and carries a memento of her.

  • Dan Stevens as Trapper
  • Kaylee Hottle as Jia

Jia can be seen standing in the Iwi village as Monarch attempts to evacuate the Iwi tribe from Skull Island. She looks over the Iwi village, which has been flooded and engulfed in flames, as Ghidorah’s remnant storm looms over the horizon.

Millennia ago, the Rival fought, defeated, and drove Godzilla out from one of his Hollow Earth lairs, claiming it as his domain. Eventually, he was killed when Tiamat fought him to take control of the lair. When Godzilla finds his remains, all that is left of the Rival is a mangled skull. The unidentified Hollow Earth Titan likely evolved within the Hollow Earth. It died within the Hollow Earth Temple from the aforementioned lethal blow to the back of the skull from the mentioned axe during a battle. While unconfirmed, due to the ancient war mentioned in Godzilla vs. Kong the skeleton most likely belongs to an ancient Titan. Years later, Kong enters the Hollow Earth Temple, where he notices a battle axe wedged within the Hollow Earth Titan. He removes it and holds it up high, roaring proudly while beating his chest. He then claims his new weaponized gift.

Rodan

Rodan served Ghidorah as his second-in-command when he became the new alpha Titan. While Rodan served Ghidorah in the final battle, Rodan and Godzilla never attacked or harmed each other during the fight. After Godzilla defeated Ghidorah, Rodan (initially) was going to fight Godzilla, but he glared at Rodan which forced him to bow down to Godzilla and acknowledge him as the rightful alpha Titan. Rodan is forgiven by Godzilla and then begins to serve him.

Mechagodzilla

Mechagodzilla is a robotic clone of Godzilla and is the very reason of him opposing Apex Cybernetics in the first place. As it’s development involved in the use of Ghidorah’s surviving skull and the use of the ORCA to replicate the same extra-terrestrial Titan’s alpha call, they alerted Godzilla, who set out to stop it, even if that means he had to lay waste upon Apex’s facilities one by one and jeopardize his reputation in the eyes of the human race in the process. Despite his efforts, Apex Cybernetics managed to complete Mechagodzilla, but it soon quickly turned against its own creators due to Ghidorah’s influence and even inherited the latter’s hatred to Godzilla, as seen when it brutalizes Godzilla while ignoring Kong. Godzilla on the other hand, hates Mechagodzilla for carrying the vestige of his fallen archenemy.

Dagon

Dagon was Godzilla’s predecessor and a member of his species. It’s unclear, whether the two met, prior to the former’s death.

Doug

Doug was Godzilla’s close relative and likely his cousin.

Shinomura

A predatory Titan formed from multiple organisms, Godzilla fought these creatures, before they were eliminated, by the bombing of Bikini Atoll in 1954.

Eight-Legged M.U.T.O.

One of the two offspring of M.U.T.O. Prime responsible for Dagon’s death, Godzilla saw her as a threat to the Earth’s balance.

Winged M.U.T.O.

One of M.U.T.O. Prime’s offspring responsible for Dagon’s death, Godzilla saw him as a threat to the Earth’s balance.

M.U.T.O. Prime

MUTO Prime is the queen of all M.U.T.O.s, who Godzilla saw as a threat to the Earth’s balance.

Six-Legged M.U.T.O.

Godzilla and the Six-Legged M.U.T.O. seem to have a respectful relationship. Unlike the other two M.U.T.O.s, the Six-Legged M.U.T.O. does not attack Godzilla, but, instead bows down to him to show how she respects and acknowledge him as the rightful alpha Titan.

Behemoth

Behemoth is a Titan that, was forced to serve under Ghidorah, before opted to obey Godzilla following the extra-terrestrial Titan’s death. Behemoth and Godzilla are at least on good terms, being grateful to the latter after he saved him from Amhuluk.

Scylla

Scylla is a Titan that, was forced to server under Ghidorah, before opted to obey Godzilla following the dragon Titan’s death. She and Godzilla’s relationship become rocky somehow as the latter forced her to retreat for threatening a cargo ship that was carrying a nuclear weapon.

Methuselah

Methuselah was a Titan that, was forced to serve under Ghidorah, before opted to obey Godzilla following his death.

Amhuluk

Amhuluk accepts Godzilla as the alpha Titan and stands down, when he breaks up his fight against Behemoth.

Na Kika

Na Kika was among Titans that, was forced to serve under Ghidorah, before opted to obey Godzilla following his death. It was grateful for Godzilla, who not only saved it from Titan traffickers, but also decimated them all as it’s abduction being part of a plot that, could topple the balance of nature.

Tiamat

Tiamat is an aggressive, serpentine dragon-like Titan, who becomes one of Godzilla’s friends after the latter forces her to stand down in their confrontation.

  • Mothra (close friend and partner)
In-universe information
AliasThe Thing
Titanus
Mosura
Queen of the Monsters
SpeciesGiant divine moth
GenderFemale
OriginNature’s goddess

She is a lepidopteran-like kaiju known as Titanus Mosura who is capable of defending the natural world and was revered as a goddess by ancient human civilizations. Mothra also serves as Godzilla’s trusted ally as she aided him in battle against his nemesis Ghidorah.

Relationships Godzilla (husband)

Abilities
Abdominal stinger

At close proximity, Mothra’s stinger possesses sufficient force to effortlessly penetrate Rodan’s geothermal armor. For ambiguous reasons, she appears to only use her stinger as a last resort.

Durability and stamina

Despite sustaining burns from Rodan’s intense heat, Mothra showed remarkable resilience and tenacity by persisting in battle. However, it is important to note that Mothra’s endurance is still relatively lesser when compared to the formidable durability of Rodan, Ghidorah, and Godzilla. Upon emerging from her cocooned state, she demonstrated exceptional endurance as she embarked on a journey in pursuit of Godzilla in the vast depths of the ocean. Swiftly undertaking a mission to protect him from Gidorah while aiding in their combat, she faced a fierce aerial confrontation against Rodan, engaging in a valiant clash and enduring impactful blows that propelled her into buildings. Her recovery following the victory over Rodan was a gradual process, requiring a significant amount of time before she could offer assistance again. Struggling to crawl towards Godzilla, she summoned all her strength to propel herself into flight, determined to counteract the devastating assault unleashed by Gidorah, even at the expense of her own well-being.

Energy dispersal

Upon being vaporized by Ghidorah, the radioactive cloud which remained of Mothra’s body empowered the overloaded Godzilla, allowing him to unlock his Burning Godzilla form which emits smelting heat and releases a series of all-destroying thermonuclear pulses.

Flight

Mothra’s gigantic wings in her imago form allow her to fly across the sky at great speed.

God rays

Mothra’s body in her larval form, and later her thorax in her imago form; are capable of emitting beta-wave bioluminescence that can be projected through the patterns of her imago form’s wings. She uses this as a form of communication and can weaponize it to create brilliant, near-blinding ‘god rays’ of blue light or angelic-looking golden-white light. These god-rays are powerful enough to almost-instantly disperse storm-clouds and produce mighty winds. Additionally, electronics nearby were damaged when she hatched from her cocoon and extended one of her limbs with a flash of bioluminescence from the waterfall.

Meteorokinesis

She’s notably able to clear the sky in her immediate vicinity of the storms being spread around the world by Ghidorah. She first does this before emerging from her cocoon, then again when she arrives at Castle Bravo.

Physical manipulation

According to the novelization, when she senses King Ghidorah’s spreading storms, the pupating Mothra voluntarily forces her own metamorphosis to speed up.

Raptorial forelimbs

Mothra’s anterior and middle appendages are adorned with pointed tips reminiscent of those found in praying mantises, serving as blade-like weaponry in her engagements with other Titans.

Reincarnation

Mothra can cheat death by laying an egg upon reaching her imago state, into which she will reincarnate with her memories intact after her previous body dies.

Semi-omniscience

It’s indicated that Mothra has a heightened awareness of the Earth’s planetary atmospheric and tectonic/geological interactions and its geological past, which she passes on to Godzilla permanently when her ashes temporarily unlock his Burning Godzilla form.

Silk

Mothra can fire short, controlled, and sudden blasts of strong, spider-like silk from inside her mandibles in both her larval and imago forms. The silk is strong enough to immobilize humans, and even trap Ghidorah for a significant length of time by gluing his heads to the side of a building.

Speed and agility

Mothra is a fast and agile flyer, though she’s seemingly surpassed by Rodan in both regards.

Strength and combat

Mothra’s fighting style varies depending on what stage of life she is currently in. In her larval form, she primarily relies on her silk attack and her mandibles for combat, but can also cause damage to her surrounding environment (particularly where humans are concerned) through her size and bulk. In her imago form, Mothra is a fierce enough aerial fighter to match Rodan and keep the latter occupied for a time, before Rodan begins to overwhelm her.

Symbiosis

Mothra and Godzilla have a symbiotic relationship which enables them to share their life-force to give one of them an edge in combat. When Mothra tanks Ghidorah’s gravity beams, her ashes empower the overloading Godzilla and enable him to temporarily unlock his Burning Godzilla mode, as well as permanently transferring Mothra’s aforementioned semi-omniscience to him.

Telepathy

It’s heavily implied Mothra can telepathically connect to her worshippers or those that she trusts, most notably, Ilene and Ling Chen. Ling appeared to sense Mothra’s pupa hatching, while Ilene appeared to sense Mothra’s arrival to Boston. Chens and their ancestors have been taught they’re connected to Mothra for generations, and Madison Russell has a vision of Mothra during her near-death experience in Boston before being revived.

Thermal vision

Mothra in her larval form is capable of sensing thermal radiation, although it’s unknown if she still possesses this sense in her imago form.

Weaknesses
Extreme heat

Rodan’s extremely-high body temperature was able to slowly burn away and weaken Mothra during their fight, to the point that after the end of their fight, she was reduced to weakly slouching and crawling, and her wings were singed to the point where she had visible difficulty flying straight during her last charge at Ghidorah.

Gravity beam

After Mothra was badly weakened by her fight with Rodan, a direct blast from all three of Ghidorah’s gravity beams was enough to disintegrate her, leaving behind nothing but a radioactive cloud.

Unnamed Father and Mother

As a newborn, Kong witnessed their deaths and still missed them greatly since he occasionally looked on their wall paintings sadly. Shortly after his birth, his mother hid him in a cave while his father tried hold off the Skullcrawlers. Nevertheless, their deaths motivated Kong in preventing more Skullcrawlers from causing more death, toppling Skull Island’s ecosystem due to their hunger.

Standing over 100-feet tall, the beast they call Kong is a primate of such size and ferocity that his very existence rewrites every chapter of evolutionary theory. More mountain than mammal, he walks upright on two legs, his towering form shaking the ground with each thunderous step. It is hard to say how long Kong has existed, but initial analysis of bone structure and teeth suggests the creature is an adolescent. He’s still growing.
While sharing a common ancestry with apes, Kong is an entirely new superspecies beyond any existent categorization of life on Earth. Worshipped as a god by the Iwi, Kong has inspired a culture of reverence among the indigenous peoples of Skull Island. Across the sweep of his natural domain, his history has been memorialized through a series of sacred monuments. Intricately painted petroglyphs and tomes chart Kong’s god-like rise to power.
And that power has come at a terrible price.
The emergence of a new breed of apex predator – the Skullcrawlers – challenged Kong’s kind, threatening extinction in an evolutionary war that has waged for millennia. The island is strewn with the bones of his fallen ancestors. His family.
How long can it have been since he last gazed upon another like himself?

Kong is a member of a prehistoric, simian superspecies that evolved in the Hollow Earth, a lush ecosystem of gigantic creatures located beneath the surface of the Earth. While the species shares a common ancestry with modern-day apes, it is considered to be an entirely new categorization of life. Unusual in apes, the species walked upright instead of knuckle-walking, giving them a humanoid appearance. Based on the appearance of Kong’s parents, the species exhibited some examples of sexual dimorphism. Males appeared to be slightly larger, leaner, and possessed a sagittal crest and beard-like growths along the face. Females, like Kong’s mother, were more rotund in physique and often grew longer hair.

Ancient humans who later became the Iwi revered the apes as gods and protectors, building large shrines and structures in their name. At some point in the distant past, the Kongs and the Iwi’s ancestors waged war against Godzilla’s kind for dominance. To combat the larger, more volatile Gojiras, the Kongs crafted axes forged from the dorsal plates, hide, and bones of fallen Gojira members. After a costly protracted war, the Kongs were ultimately unable to defeat their rivals, resulting in species’ numbers to dwindle.

When Skull Island came into existence, living members of the species migrated there via an opening from the Hollow Earth. They ruled over the island peacefully until the Skullcrawlers, an invasive species from the Hollow Earth, infested the island. The feud between the two species lasted for centuries, with casualties on both sides. Eventually, the Iwi’s descendants migrated to the island and witnessed the feud. Under constant attack from the Skullcrawlers, and unable to grow to their full potential due to resource limitations on the island, the remnants of Kong’s species soon died off until only two were left alive, the parents of Kong himself. The two would later perish after being overwhelmed by a horde Skullcrawlers, but not before the female gave birth to Kong. As the last known member of his species, Kong patrolled the island and hunted the creatures responsible for the extinction of his species.

Jia, who is 10 years old is the child of two local Iwi natives of Skull Island. Her parents were killed by Skull Crawlers. 3 years before the events of Godzilla vs Kong, Camazotz’s rampage on Skull Island caused dangerous and unpredictable storms that eventually wiped out most of the Iwi. However, Jia herself was spared thanks to Kong protecting her, and the two formed a bond and kinship.Jia sits, fashioning a doll of Kong, which she holds out to him. Kong considers the doll, but then tosses a spear he fashioned from a tree-branch, breaching Skull Island’s biodome. Jia then rushes up to Ilene Andrews, telling her that Kong is angry. Andrews then tells her to leave and go wait for her and she reluctantly does so. Jia is later present during Andrews’s discussion with Nathan Lind about the plan to bring Kong to Hollow Earth. She signs to Andrews that Skull Island is Kong’s home and theirs, but Jia only frowns at this. Jia then waves to the revived Kong, telling him that Godzilla is not the enemy. He roars, staring at Mechagodzilla clobbering Godzilla, and she tells him that is the enemy. “It’s true,” she signs and he seems to nod in understanding. She pleads with him to be careful and he rises, ready to join the fight. He then joins with Godzilla to destroy Mechagodzilla.

Abilities
Agility

Kong has extraordinary agility and climbing abilities, as he is capable of scaling massive cliffs and mountain faces with relative ease. In combination with his strength, Kong is capable of leaping long distances despite his height, as demonstrated when he avoided two Sky Devils helicopters from two directions in 1973, and to allow Kong to move to a star destroyer during his fight against Godzilla in the Tasman Sea. Kong utilizes these skills to great effect in his battle against Godzilla in Hong Kong, using the surrounding buildings to avoid Godzilla’s atomic breath and maneuver around him.

Carnivorous Diet

Kong regularly preys on and consumes meat from creatures such as Mire Squids and Warbats. While on route to Monarch’s Antarctica base, he is shown eating fish caught for him by the handful. In the animated series, Kong’s Hawk companion was shown to capture prey like Grass Hedgehogs for the ape to consume. Kong is further seen devouring a crocodilian monster in the show.

Durability and stamina

Kong is tough and resilient and has shown great recuperative powers. His stamina remains high even in an injured state, able to remain in full-fledged battles with other Titans lasting several minutes. As an adolescent, Kong was able to withstand bullets from attack helicopters and wounds from Skullcrawlers, though he was still injured by these attacks. Despite being temporarily knocked out from oxygen depletion from a napalm explosion, Kong could still briefly defend himself and awaken moments later to continue fighting against the Skull Devil. Kong showed no signs of exhaustion after his arduous battle with the Skull Devil. In Kingdom Kong, Kong can survive a fall from thousands of feet twice after being airlifted by Camazotz and later in Godzilla vs Kong he survives another fall from possibly thousands of feet when he enters the Hollow Earth from the Vile Vortex. During his battle with Godzilla in Hong Kong, despite being bitten, clawed, and tail whipped by the Alpha Titan, Kong was able to withstand these attacks and the only injuries that actually affected him were his dislocated shoulder and bodily shock following the battle. Kong has also survived Godzilla’s atomic breath though he was visibly hurt by it. Kong can also survive Gravitational Inversion, a planet’s worth of gravity reversed in a split second.

Intelligence

Kong’s most distinctive feature is his near human level of intelligence. More so than any other Titan, Kong has shown an ability to learn and adapt to changes in battle; utilizing the environment to his advantage and being able to improvise and craft weaponry from his environment.

Kong is seen using the corpse of a Warbat as a weapon by slamming it into another attacking Warbat. Kong is particularly adept with his battle axe, using it to great effect in his battle against Godzilla and Mechagodzilla. His intelligence is also demonstrated when he uses a waterfall as a shower during his morning routine.

Communication

Kong has learned sign language from Jia, making him the first and to date only Titan capable of actively communicating with humans. Jia is currently the only human he trusts with this knowledge to the point he avoided using it when anyone else was around to see him do so. Kong is even able to speak a single word out loud: “Home.”

Senses

Kong’s senses are keen and powerful. At one point, he sensed a Mire Squid lurking near him while drinking water from a lake and even heard the cries of a trapped Sker Buffalo struggling to break free from the wreckage of a helicopter. His vision is also strong enough to notice people standing on a cliff through the dead of night. While on route to Antarctica, he was able to sense Godzilla approaching well before the radar systems could detect Godzilla.

In Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, Kong was able to detect the League of Assassins’ presence despite their proficiency in stealth and being adept to ninjutsu, before Green Arrow notices them.

Jaw strength

Like all apes, Kong has sharp canine teeth that grant him a lethal bite. This was seen when he bites and tears off the tentacles of a Mire Squid after killing it. In Godzilla vs. Kong, Kong is briefly shown piercing Godzilla’s neck very hard with his teeth during their underwater fight, showing that his bite did hurt Godzilla quite a bit.

Strength and combat

Kong is enormously strong and has tremendously powerful arms, possessing sheer feral strength. As an adolescent, he was able to throw a boulder around half his own size, uproot large trees and throw them a great distance at flying targets with accuracy, fight off a Mire Squid and kill it using his own muscles and also able to rip off Skull Devil’s powerful tongue when it latched onto him, killing the alpha Skullcrawler. His punches can incapacitate smaller Skullcrawlers and can wrestle and pin the alpha to the ground by using sheer force. He was also capable of casually lifting a crashed helicopter off of a trapped Sker Buffalo with just one hand. Kong was even strong enough to break free from the anchor chains of a wrecked ship. In the 1960s and while still not fully grown yet he possesses the strength to take on and defeat The Kraken, though he was almost killed.

By 2024, he possesses the strength to take on Titans as powerful as Godzilla.

Kong’s punches are strong enough to make Godzilla stagger, and have been stated to be comparable to 4.2 magnitude earthquakes. Despite waking up from 100% sedation due to being laid on his back in a very cold environment, Kong was able to fight and kill two Warbats (with some human assistance) before running over a thousand miles to reach his ancestral home shortly after. In their battle, Kong subdued Godzilla several times, utilizing his momentum to grapple and throw Godzilla around. Later, Kong made Godzilla visibly roar in pain when he punched the latter’s thigh near the axe wound. Furthermore, Kong was also able to rip the head of a Warbat clean off (without its spine intact). During the final fight with Mechagodzilla, after Godzilla charged Kong’s axe, Kong was able to easily stop an incoming punch directed at him from the mech with a single arm, when beforehand he was struggling to hold Mechagodzilla’s tail back. After slicing off MechaGodzilla’s limbs, Kong proceeded to rip the robot’s head off, pulling the entire spinal cord out with it.

Kong can effectively utilize melee and ranged weapons in and out of combat. Kong’s most valuable weapon is the massive dorsal fin axe he discovered in the Hollow Earth. In their final battle, Kong’s fully-charged axe had been overcharged and made a nuclear pulse which was powerful enough to knock both him and Godzilla back. Godzilla voluntarily charged the axe later when he and Kong battled Mechagodzilla, enabling the ape to quickly dismantle the machine.

According to the film’s novelization, Kong can enter a berserk rage once he has finally had enough, increasing his strength.

Weapon proficiency

Kong has the capacity to wield any type of object which he can use as tools or weapons on opponents. In Kong: Skull Island, he was able to use a stripped tree trunk as a baseball bat to swing it against Skull Devil’s face, use a ship’s propeller attached to a chain as a flail to wound and pull the creature back toward him and even used the propeller as a saw blade to slice Skull Devil’s throat open. Kong used a stripped tree as a spear to destroy a biodome Monarch had built to contain him and even used a radio dish as a shield to block Godzilla’s atomic breath during his fight with him in Hong Kong. Kong is also capable of using a battle axe in combat, seen during his fight against Godzilla and Mechagodzilla.

Weaknesses
Freezing Temperatures

Kong is unable to survive in colder climates like the Arctic, as he would eventually freeze to death. When airlifted to Antarctica by Apex Cybernetics, Kong was visibly uncomfortable, with Nathan Lind postulating that he would not survive long.

Lack of bodily armor/Oxygen deprivation

Kong has very durable and resilient skin, though his skin seems to be not as tough as Godzilla’s scales, as they are incredibly thick and protect him from most attacks. This makes Kong susceptible to injury from heavy munitions and fast moving sharp objects, as seen when a helicopter’s rotor blades grazed and wounded his palm, and when artillery rounds severely wounded his arm. Kong was also knocked out by the napalm fire as it ate away the oxygen around Kong and burned him in a few places. He is not a strong swimmer and was nearly drowned by Godzilla when the amphibious Titan pulled him into the depths of the ocean, taking advantage of his own water-breathing capabilities. In Godzilla vs. Kong, Kong’s back was burned when hit by Godzilla’s atomic breath, creating a burn mark though it quickly fizzled out and didn’t seem to affect the ape Titan shortly afterward.

Poor Swimmer

Kong is not a strong swimmer, though he is able to swim well enough to make it back to the ships each time he goes under. Neither can he hold his breath underwater for very long periods of time. He will eventually drown if not able to surface for air.

Equipment
Battle Axe

Kong’s primary weapon is an enormous battle axe with its blade made from what appears to be a dorsal plate from another one of Godzilla’s kind. When wielding his axe, Kong is capable of using it to absorb energy from the Hollow Earth, as well as Godzilla’s atomic breath. In their final battle, the fully-charged axe was overcharged and made an energy burst powerful enough to knock both Kong and Godzilla back. Godzilla voluntarily charges the axe again when he and Kong battle Mechagodzilla, allowing Kong to quickly dismantle the machine. Kong can swing the axe at a top speed of 62 miles per hour.

B.E A.S.T. Glove

The B.E.A.S.T. Glove is a colossal mechanical brace that Monarch built for Kong. Monarch created the device when Kong obtained an injury to his right arm in the film.

Doug

He is a member of an unnamed reptilian species that lives in the Hollow Earth.

As Rock Critters scattered in Kong’s wake, Doug seized the opportunity, snatching up one crab in his jaws. Eight more members of his species steered clear of Kong as he continued running.

Doug’s species are subterranean predatory reptiles that roam the rocky plains of the Hollow Earth. They are predators and seem to mainly hunt species such as the Rock Critters.

They appear to be ambush predators, using their gray coloration as an evolutionary advantage to blend in with their surrounding environment, as well as ambushing to take an advantage of a situation, such as when Kong disturbed a group of Rock Critters, making them disperse and become easy prey for Doug. They appear to be a somewhat social species, as eight members of his species can be seen travelling or standing idly together as Kong traverses the Hollow Earth.

Weight-39,043 tons
Wingspan-871 feet

Within a Monarch containment facility atop the active Isla de Mara volcano, a mysterious Titan lies in pyrostasis within the restless magma. The legends speak of it as the “Fire Demon” or “The One Born of Fire”, but a simpler name echoes through the ancient temples of volcanically active regions: “Rodan”.

A volcanic internal combustion system of magma flows throughout a body covered in rock-like scales that act as geothermal armor. While much larger in size, Rodan has a skeletal structure similar to that of a Pteranodon – one of the earliest vertebrates known to have developed the power of flight. Just as Kong is the king of the primates, Rodan may have once been the king of the skies.

Because of the extreme temperatures within this particular containment facility, current lab equipment can’t function properly. As a result, thermal heat signatures on the creature are impossible to collect, and Monarch detection crews conducted cardiograms via aerial satellite for life sign detection and verification. Much like the volcano that incubates it, Rodan is alive but dormant.

Rodan’s wings are wrapped around its body in stasis, but our cryptos estimate a wingspan big enough to create a sonic thunderclap capable of leveling entire cities as it flies overhead. RF-Capture scans reveal that Rodan’s skin is not made of rock, but does have an outer dermis of sharp volcanic sediment collected from centuries of dormancy. Sci-ops theorizes the vulcanized appearance of its skin may be an evolutionary trait developed as a form of camouflage against mountains or large rock formations. Truly, a Titan forged in fire.

Abilities
Bio-volcanic nature

Rodan possesses an internal volcanic combustion system; causing him to radiate heat, the temperature of which can reach up to 1200°C.[1] As a result, Rodan’s external body temperature is life-threateningly hot upon close contact, to the point that he was able to use it during his skirmish with Mothra to slowly burn the latter to near-death. When Rodan was stabbed by Mothra, a small amount of fire was seen erupting from the wound. Its bio-volcanic nature made it survive Godzilla’s thermonuclear pulses, which would have killed any other kaiju.

Cyclonic drift streams

Rodan’s massive wings are powerful enough to create a devastating sonic thunderclap beneath his flight, powerful enough to instantly decimate buildings and throw vehicles, debris, and people straight to the air with tornado-like force.

Extreme heat resistance

Michael Dougherty claims that Rodan is able to swim in magma to travel if he needs to because the bio-volcanic combustion inside of Rodan can withstand the highest temperatures of magma.

Durability

Due to his armor and size, Rodan can completely shrug off bullets from rifles to missiles, and he’s unfazed by close contact with volcanic lava. He can even survive baring the full force of Ghidorah’s gravity beams (though he was still knocked down). Despite his high body temperature and affinity for heat, he even recovered seemingly on his own from falling inert into the ocean. Even an open wound from being impaled through the shoulder by Mothra’s stinger was something Rodan seemed to be able to shrug off once he’d recovered.

Flight

Rodan has a skeletal structure similar to that of a Pteranodon and thus is capable of fast, long-distance flight. With the wingspan of over 871 ft, he has the capabilty of flying across oceans without tiring.

Sharp beak

Rodan has a razor-sharp serrated beak that can be used as a formidable weapon and can be used to inflict cutting, impaling, or crushing damage.

Sharp talons

Rodan has razor-sharp talons which are sufficient to rend and cut most materials.

Speed and agility

Due to his immense wingspan, Rodan is fast enough to keep up with and outfly military fighter jets and the USS Argo with super-sonic speed, and intercept Mothra when she was in the middle of a dive. He is capable of acrobatic aerial maneuvers which made him a devastating foe who swiftly decimated and eradicated the aforementioned Raptor squad, despite the fact that he woke up and took a flight for the first time.

Strength and combat

Rodan mainly uses his beak and talons for combat and can use them to easily crush fighter jets. He even used his wings to knock off the Raptors he was attacking. Rodan is also strong enough to last a significant length of time grappling in the sky with Mothra and Ghidorah.

Volcano-agrikinesis

The novelization reveals that Rodan can make volcanoes erupt by simply flying over them.

Weaknesses
Mothra’s stinger

Mothra’s abdominal stinger can pierce through Rodan’s armor and body at close range. Though Rodan recovered from the blow after several minutes, the impalement was devastating enough to ultimately take him out of the fight in the meantime, leaving him to fall to and writhe on the ground.

  • Behemoth (minion)

Behemoth attacked Rio de Janeiro under the evil Titan’s command before traveling to Boston with the others. With Godzilla having defeated Ghidorah, Behemoth and the other Titans proceeded to submit to Godzilla as the new alpha Titan. Behemoth established his own territory in the Amazon rainforest, where he was attacked by the Titan Amhuluk. However, Godzilla soon arrived and forced Amhuluk to leave, restoring Behemoth’s claim to his territory.

Behemoth is named as the primal unconquerable chaos monster of the land in the Bible. According to the Book of Job, Behemoth and Leviathan are described to demonstrate to Job the futility of questioning God, who alone has created these beings and who alone can capture them. At the end of time, a great battle will take place between Behemoth, Leviathan (the chaos monster of the sea), and Ziz (the chaos monster of the air), before they are slain by their Creator, who will use them to shelter and feed the righteous survivors of the world. In the Haggadah, Behemoth’s strength reaches its peak on the summer solstice of every year. At this time of year, Behemoth lets out a loud roar that makes all animals tremble with fear, and thus renders them less ferocious for a whole year. As a result, weak animals live in safety away from the reach of wild animals. Without Behemoth’s roar, animals would grow more wild and ferocious and hence go around butchering each other and humans.

A name synonymous with immense size and power, Behemoth is a lumbering mammoth with a wooly hide that erupts with serrated back spines of unbreakable granite fortified with metal and ore. Its elephantine bellow is a Titan war cry that can be heard for miles when it engages in combat, striking opponents with a seismic crash of thunder from massive tusks cloaked in centuries of overgrowth. A benign protector with an almost symbiotic relationship with the environment, Behemoth’s presence breathes life into previously barren environments, as the massive amounts of its droppings become a nutrient-rich fertilizer that can regrow entire rainforests to help restore the balance of nature and strengthen Earth’s immune system.

Abilities
Bio-seismic nature

Monarch describes Titanus Behemoth as “bio-seismic”, for he is able to create massive seismic tremors when he slams his tusks into objects.

Durability

Behemoth’s fur is essentially fireproof, as fire cannot burn on it. Very little of the heat from the fire affects Behemoth’s skin, which makes it merely a nuisance.

Excrement

Behemoth’s feces can be used as a highly effective fertilizer.

Reforestation

Behemoth’s movement leaves behind trace amounts of radiation which, as a result, grow jungle-like foliage in his path. One noticeable example of this was when clear-cut portions of the Amazon rainforest spawned due to Behemoth’s radiation.

Regeneration

Behemoth was able to start regrowing his broken tusk minutes after Amhuluk broke it.

Strength and combat

Behemoth can attack with the claws on his front limbs while standing on his hind legs as well as charging with his tusks like an elephant. The tusks are strong enough to break some of Amhuluk’s teeth.

Tusks

Behemoth can use his strong and sharp tusks to destroy buildings and stun other Titans with ease. The tusks are capable of quickly regenerating from damage, even when completely shattered down into stubs.

  • Scylla (minion)
  • Status Deceased

Scylla was discovered by Monarch in the Arizona desert, and Outpost 55 was constructed around her. She is named after a legendary sea monster from Homer’s Odyssey. Monarch has also discovered evidence that the Moai statues on Easter Island may have been constructed by the island’s ancient inhabitants as “scarecrows” to ward off Scylla. Though she exhibits anatomical traits of various arthropods, Scylla is specifically stated to be a cephalopod.Scylla was awakened from her slumber in Arizona by King Ghidorah’s call, which also awakened many other Titans around the world. Scylla’s legs tore through the desert near an oilfield as she erupted from underground. Like the other Titans, Scylla rampaged through populated areas, destroying buildings in nearby Phoenix with her colossal legs. Eventually, she made her way to Boston along with Methuselah, Behemoth, the Queen MUTO, and a flock of Leafwings. There, they found the alpha they were following, Ghidorah, slain at the hands of Godzilla. Rodan approached Godzilla to challenge him, but was intimidated by his gaze and ultimately submitted. The other Titans all followed suit, each “bowing” in their own way to the new King of the Monsters. Later on, Scylla was reported to have left human civilization and taken up residence in a lake. The creature was also credited with slowing down the melting of the polar ice caps.Scylla will face off against Godzilla in Rome.

“Scylla” refers to the female sea monster from Greek mythology, the daughter of Typhon. In other versions, Scylla was once a beautiful sea-nymph who was transformed into a hideous creature by the sorceress goddess Circe so that the latter could have the sea god Glaucus for herself. Monarch later confirmed that Titanus Scylla was named by the Ancient Greeks, who interpreted her as a female sea monster. It may also refer to the Scylla genus of swimming crabs, as parts of Scylla greatly resemble crabs, particularly her legs.

“Scylla” may be derived from Spiga, another giant spider daikaiju. Scylla also shares a near-similar name with Nerscylla, a giant spider monster from the Monster Hunter franchise, whose name was also derived from the Greek monster. Since Scylla is inspired by Cthulhu and resembles it in some aspects of her appearance, her name may also relate to Cthylla, Cthulhu’s daughter.

Hungry and desperate for sustenance, Scylla attempted to feed on a nuclear bomb in the ocean near Savannah, Georgia, putting her into conflict with the United States Coast Guard. Godzilla soon arrived and, sensing Scylla would not give up her prize without a fight, attacked her. Godzilla tackled Scylla, who stabbed him with her legs and drew blood. She then extended her tentacles at Godzilla’s face, but he shook her off and sent her slamming into a cargo ship. The two Titans roared at each other before Scylla again shot her tentacles at Godzilla’s face. Godzilla stumbled backward into an electrical sign, which sparked and ignited nearby oil tanks, causing them to explode. Amid the flames, Godzilla lunged at Scylla and launched her into the air. Scylla crashed into the water before getting back to her feet, growling at Godzilla. As the humans lifted the warhead onto a ship, Scylla finally gave up and retreated underwater. She, along with the other Titans, are sent back into dormancy by Godzilla.

Abilities
Physical abilities

Scylla utilizes her massive legs to effortlessly smash through buildings, and even pierced Godzilla’s skin with them in Godzilla Dominion. Though ultimately defeated, she was briefly able to hold her own against the King of the Monsters. She is highly maneuverable.

Temperature manipulation

Through unspecified means, Scylla is able to slow the melting of the polar ice caps.

Bacteria generation

Monarch describes Scylla as “bio-corrosive.” After feeding on a slain Titan, Scylla can convert its nutrients into a deadly water-borne bacteria.

Shell

Scylla can exit her shell at will, presumably to escape another Titan’s grasp. Though she is vulnerable to attack until she can grow a new shell, she will compensate by burrowing into a rock face or molding sunken warships into temporary armor.

Tentacles

Scylla can launch her tentacles at opponents. This was sufficient to disorient Godzilla and send him stumbling backward.

Amphibiousness

As shown in Godzilla Dominion, Scylla is able to propel herself quickly through the water with her legs. Her top speed underwater is unknown, but she is even faster than Godzilla.

Toxic Fog

Scylla released a toxic fog that hindered the Flash’s super-speed, though it appears to not have affected the various supervillains breaking out of Iron Heights Prison. Supergirl was able to dispel it with her super-breath. It is revealed that after Scylla expels the fog-like pollutant from her mouth area, she uses it gather nuclear energy so that it may be sucked back up and absorbed into her.

  • Methuselah (minion)

Methuselah is a biblical patriarch from the Book of Genesis and is part of the genealogy linking Adam to Noah. Said to have died at the age of 969, he lived the longest of all the figures mentioned in the Bible. His name has become synonymous with longevity. Some scholars believe that Methuselah serves the symbolic function of linking the Creation and the Flood/Apocalypse.

A Titan sentinel with the power to camouflage, Methuselah can remain hidden in plain sight, able to seamlessly blend into the horizon of any rocky environment as a mountain range, a glacier, even earning the nickname “Archie” among some in the Monarch ranks for its time spent as a derelict island in a remote Canadian archipelago. Disguised by forests of vegetation that have claimed its rocky exterior from centuries of dormancy, Methuselah uses its mountainous body as a shield and sanctuary to protect or relocate entire populations from environmental catastrophes and Titan attacks. While lacking offensive elemental powers, Methuselah is a lumbering tank, able to withstand a heavy barrage of attacks and becoming a granite battleship that bulldozes Titan opponents in combat. Methuselah is the sleeping giant more humans have unknowingly seen throughout history, as it waited patiently for the call to rise.

Abilities
Amphibious nature

In his official dossier, Methuselah is revealed to have camouflaged himself as an island at one point by staying submerged for a certain amount of time. He can also camouflage as a glacier if in an arctic environment.

Bio-geological nature

Monarch describes Titanus Methuselah as “bio-geological”, as he is able to effortlessly burrow underground.

Camouflage

Due to his back being composed partially of rock and vegetation, Methuselah can camouflage himself as a mountain, apparently very quickly.

Durability

Methuselah’s back is extremely durable due to being almost completely covered in rock, allowing him to withstand powerful attacks.

Strength and combat

Unlike many Titans, Methuselah lacks any elemental powers, instead relying on his massive size and strength to “bulldoze” other Titans in battle. He can use his powerful jaws and massive horns to inflict a great deal of damage and destruction. He can also effortlessly carry an entire human population on his back.

  • Queen MUTO (minion)

The Queen MUTO was among the many Titans to be awakened by Ghidorah’s call and started to rampage along with the other newly-awakened Titans. After Godzilla later killed Ghidorah, the MUTO assembled in Boston along with Scylla, Behemoth, Methuselah and Rodan. Each of the Titans progressively submitted to Godzilla as the new alpha of the Titans while he roared triumphantly.Queen MUTO seemed to lack the malicious streaks that MUTO Prime and MUTO couple had. In fact, destruction she released to the world mostly due to her following Ghidorah’s orders and upon his defeat, she bowed to Godzilla without visible signs of hesitation and joined him him in restoring their own planet.

  • Mokele-Mbembe (minion
Durability

Mokele-Mbembe’s pebbled reptilian back is durable enough to withstand a missile blast that has almost no effect on him.

Strength and combat

In addition to his tusks, Mokele-Mbembe’s tail is sharp enough to slice an Osprey in half and strong enough to tear through a pyramid. Mokele-Mbembe’s trunk is also incredibly fast as well as being prehensile, allowing him to grab moving targets. His teeth are also incredibly sharp.

  • Sekhmet (minion)

“Sekhmet” was a warrior and healing goddess in Ancient Egyptian mythology, a solar and war deity (often another form of either the love goddess Hathor or the cat goddess Bast) depicted as a lioness whose breath was said to form deserts.Sekhmet can be seen as an ancient carving in the opening sequence of Godzilla: King of the Monsters. In the carving, Sekhmet greatly resembles a lioness with a thin mane of fur growing from her head and down the length of her back. Her most notable differences appear to be a pair of avian-like hindlimbs with grasping claws, and a pair of feathery wings sprouting from her shoulders. At some point, Monarch discovered Sekhmet hibernating in Cairo, Egypt, and subsequently built Outpost 65 around her. When Ghidorah calls upon all the Titans, Sekhmet breaks free and begins to hunt with her new pack, destroying a railway amongst other structures.

  • Yamata no Orochi (minion)

“Yamata no Orochi” is a snake or a dragon in Japanese legend that has eight heads and eight tails.Yamata no Orochi had Monarch Outpost 91 built around it in Mount Fuji, Japan. When Ghidorah calls all the Titans, Yamata no Orochi breaks free and begins to hunt with its new pack, chasing down a cruise ship in the Pacific Ocean.Orochi was the god Tsukuyomi, Lord of the Underworld and God of the Moon, who transformed into this monstrous form 10,000 years ago and used it to attack Earth. All of this was done in jealousy of his sister Amaterasu, Goddess of Heaven and the Sun. He destroyed cities and mountains until he was stopped by his brother Susano, God of Storms and the Sea; his father then banished him from Earth in a prison of ice. Thousands of years later, Tsukuyomi returned to Earth and was revived thanks to his servant, a transformed sentient broken fang who died soon afterward. After breaking free on the Moon, he raised his castle but was bested by Yamato Takeru and Oto, who held the ‘spirits’ of his two siblings. Angered, Tsukuyomi transformed into Orochi to kill Yamato Takeru and Oto, but they were saved by Amano Shiratori, the servant of Amaterasu. However, Orochi threw the two into outer space via a blast, but Takeru fused with Oto and two sacred treasures to become Utsuno Ikusagami. Utsuno Ikusagami fought Orochi and won. Tsukuyomi was trapped on the Moon, sealed into Takeru’s pendant and cast into space on the orders of Susano who said that, upon his return, Tsukuyomi would be reformed.King Ghidorah was known in ancient times as Yamata no Orochi. He fought Godzilla in an underdeveloped form, sporting only three heads out of eight.

Abilities
Amphibious nature

Yamata no Orochi can chase its targets both on land and in water.

Abilities
Orochi
Fire breath

In Orochi, the Eight-Headed Dragon, Orochi is able to spit a concentrated beam of fire from each of his eight mouths.

Supreme Emperor Red Lighting

In Orochi, the Eight-Headed Dragon, Orochi can fire red-colored lightning from his eyes called the Supreme Emperor Red Lightning . He can use this attack from all eight heads at once in an attack called the Supreme Emperor Red Storm Dance  which is stated to be 99.99% unavoidable; however, this technique was unused in the film.

Crimson lightning

In Orochi, the Eight-Headed Dragon, Orochi can fire red-colored lightning from each of his eight mouths. Though visually similar to the Supreme Emperor Red Lightning, it is a distinct technique.

Flight

In Orochi, the Eight-Headed Dragon, Orochi is able to fly and travel through space via unknown means.

Presence

In Orochi, the Eight-Headed Dragon, Orochi’s very presence can cause massive natural disasters on Earth.

Durability

Godzilla swiftly killed Yamato no Orochi with two shots of his atomic breath, throwing him by two of his heads in between the blasts.

Tsukuyomi
Godhood

Tsukuyomi is a god and presumably has various supernatural abilities based on that fact. He was only defeated by his brother, a fellow god, and by Takeru, who was given the power to counter his.

Immortality

As a god, Tsukuyomi is immune to the withering effects of time. He also survived being trapped in ice for millennia and both of his defeats.

Calm Spirit

The counterforce to Takeru’s ‘Wild Spirit’; it manifests as beams from his eyes. Its power is unknown, but Susano said it was impossible to defeat him without the Wild Spirit to defeat his Calm Spirit. Presumably, only his siblings could match his power and only his father and the older gods surpassed it.

Materialization

Tsukuyomi manifested his armor and raised a castle of complex architecture from the Earth through only his will. These creations were not illusions and real to the point that they could survive his absence.

Teleportation

Tsukuyomi teleported from the Moon to Earth; he also teleported out of his armor when he transformed into Orochi.

Transformation

Tsukuyomi can shapeshift; he used this power to become Orochi and, given that his servants’ powers stemmed from him, he can presumably take on the appearance of others.

Pale Destruction Lasers

Tsukuyomi can fire lasers from his eyes. these beams are called Pale Destruction Lasers.

Sword of Dark Clouds

Tsukuyomi has a sword called the Sword of Dark Clouds.

Weaknesses

Yamata no Orochi could be controlled by whoever held a certain statue of his likeness, as Gorou Suda briefly demonstrated. He was physically outmatched by Godzilla, and was easily defeated when the latter used his atomic breath.

  • Leviathan (minion)

Leviathan was found in Loch Ness, Scotland, by Monarch, and Outpost 49 was built around it. When Ghidorah calls all the Titans, Leviathan breaks free and begins to hunt with its new pack. When the ORCA calls all Titans to Boston, Leviathan does not arrive in time for the battle and does not see Godzilla become the alpha of all Titans again (except Kong).

  • Abaddon (minion)

“Abaddon” is a Biblical Fallen Angel, sometimes the Angel of Death and sometimes the Angel of Destruction. He is notably mentioned to have had an army of locusts.

  • Baphomet (minion)

Baphomet was a giant MUTO. He was discovered by Monarch underneath the Volubilis in Morocco. In 2018, he was one of the MUTOs that are awakened by Ghidorah, but did not arrive to see his battle with Godzilla.

Unlike other MUTOs who benefitted the planet in some way, Baphomet was declared hazardous and was set to be terminated, but that never came to pass and he was declared missing.

Ten years later, he was targeted by Mechagodzilla and was killed.

  • Amhuluk (minion)

Amhuluk is a creature in the mythology of the Kalapuya people of Oregon, commonly associated with drowning, disease, and fog. It is described to be covered in fur with several spots, a pair of horns in its head, furless legs, and a body resembling that of a traditional western dragon.

Monarch considers Amhuluk to be an example of a florafauna, a designation previously only given to Skull Island’s creatures.Amhuluk is a massive demonic-looking Titan, being black in coloration with ten yellow eyes that lack pupils. Four tendril-like appendages ending in four large shock pads extend from his face and flow backward. His jaws are filled with needle-like teeth and a tongue armed with a bony spike. Amhuluk’s only true organic body parts are his head, spine, and some nervous system. The rest of his body is a telekinetically-assembled mass of vegetation.Amhuluk is first seen fighting Behemoth in the Amazon rainforest, managing to break one of his opponent’s tusks during the battle. Behemoth fights back, slamming his remaining tusk into Amhuluk’s face, knocking out teeth in the process. Amhuluk knocks Behemoth into the Amazon River and prepares to drown him, but the arrival of Godzilla stops the Titan. Amhuluk lunges after Godzilla, but is quickly overpowered and forced to submit, resolving his territorial dispute with Behemoth. Afterwards, Amhuluk and the other Titans are sent into dormancy by Godzillia.

Abilities

Amphibious nature

Amhuluk can survive both on land and in water.

Bio-pathogenic nature

Monarch describes Titanus Amhuluk as “bio-pathogenic”.

Body creation

Amhuluk is able to generate bodies for himself using bio-telekinetic neurotransmitters, so long as his head is intact and there is enough plant matter to create a new one, although he cannot use industrial debris.Amhuluk can create any form that he desires or that is beneficial to himself from the environment based on availability of vegetation surrounding him, including forms capable of flight.

Camouflage

Amhuluk is capable of disguising himself as naturally occurring structures and flora, such as islands or a canopy of trees.

Elastic body

Amhuluk can manipulate plant life and stretch his arms several times their original length through powerful telekinesis.

Immunity to body attacks

Attacks on Amhuluk’s body have no actual effect on him, as only the head is his actual form.

Mind Shock

Using the tendrils sprouting from his head, Amhuluk can send a powerful psychic blast into an opponents brain. At least two tendrils must be attached to the victim for the attack to work. Depending on the size and strength of the victim, the blast will either stun or outright kill them. Amhuluk will only use this ability as a last resort, as it drains his energy reserves immensely.

Poison emission

Amhuluk possesses toxin emitters that are capable of poisoning entire oceanic channels and rivers.

Strength and combat

Amhuluk is powerful enough to shatter one of Behemoth’s tusks with a single strike from his claws. Amhuluk can stretch the vegetation comprising his forelimbs, allowing a greater attack range.

Telekinesis

Amhuluk’s brain possesses powerful bio-telekinetic neurotransmitters. The creature that is Amhuluk is merely a head and parts of a spine; while the rest of his “body” is actually a telekinetically-assembled mass of old vegetation, logs, branches, and moss, all melded together by his own mind. Furthermore, Amhuluk can telekinetically stretch and throw parts of himself at opponents with great speed and force, as shown when one of his arms split one of Behemoth’s tusks in two.

Weaknesses
Flammability

Having a plant-based prosthetic body, Amhuluk is susceptible to fire.[4]

Slow regeneration

Amhuluk needs time to assemble new bodies due to his size, and must be near plant life to do so.

Sonic frequencies

Amhuluk’s artificial body is held together by sensitive neurotransmitters, and if struck by extreme high-frequency sounds, such as MUTO Prime’s sonic roar, Amhuluk’s body and brain would be destroyed instantaneously.

Vulnerable head

Enough damage to Amhuluk’s head will cause him to lose control over his form and possibly break it apart, leaving him vulnerable. His head is his primary weak spot.

  • Quetzalcoatl (minion)

In this carving, Quetzalcoatl appears to be an avian-like creature that stands on two grasping talons and has a long serpentine body ending in a long saurian tail. His head is adorned with horns that sweep backwards and a long streamlined beak. He has two large feathery wings both with a partially detached thumb (similar to bats). In the carving, Quetzalcoatl is covered in various grooves which are presumably his feathers and/or scutes.

  • Na Kika (minion)

“Na Kika” was the octopus god of the Gilbert Islands in Micronesian and Austronesian mythology and a son of Na Atibu and Nei Teukez who used his arms to lift the earth from the bottom of the sea to form islands, beaches, and rocks.

Na Kika’s nickname, “Kraken”, refers to a giant cephalopod in Scandinavian folklore that terrorizes sailors by dragging their ships into the depths of the ocean.

It describes Na Kika as resembling a massive octopus or a squid with a dense, curving cone of shell that protects its massive brain. The color of its blood is green. Na Kika is revealed to have a bulky yet streamlined body with at least eight, thick tentacles akin to an octopus with hundreds of suckers and arrowhead-shaped tips, bright blue eyes, an insectile face, an internal shell, and colorful iridescent skin. Two black wing-like fins extend from the flanks of the monster. It hibernating Na Kika, wrapped around the remains of a nuclear submarine that had been missing for decades in the Indian Ocean. They built a secret Monarch outpost around it and one of the agents working there called Devlin nicknamed Na Kika “Kraken”, as it had not been given an official name.

Personality

Historical records gathered by Monarch tell of a “monster cephalopod” that devoured entire ships, and had become a legend and horror tale amongst sailors for centuries. Because of this violent past and its aggressive nature, Monarch classifies Na Kika as a “Destroyer”.

While traversing the ocean, Na Kika is captured by Titan traffickers, who utilize a gigantic electrified net to prevent the Titan from escaping. Godzilla soon arrives and attempts to free Na Kika by clawing open the net, but is fired upon by a nearby submarine. As Godzilla goes after the vessel, Na Kika manages to free itself by prying open the net with its tentacles and escapes. Before resting in his reclaimed lair, Godzilla calls for all Titans to go into hibernation, Na Kika included.

Abilities
Amphibious lifestyle

Though primarily an aquatic creature, Na Kika can traverse on land due to viscous adhesive-covered tentacles.

Bio-virulent nature

Monarch describes Titanus Na Kika as “bio-virulent”, for it is able to use its suction-cupped tentacles to drain other Titans’ elemental energy.

Camouflage

Like octopods, Na Kika can change the color and patterns of its shell and skin to become virtually invisible. It can also mimic other states, such as death, by disguising its radiation signature.

Intelligence

Na Kika’s brain is much larger than necessary to control its body, giving it incredible intelligence surpassing most Titans. It is intelligent enough to recognize that a containment field surrounding it only works on living Titans, something even the Monarch scientists had not figured out. In combat, Na Kika can snap off large pieces of seabed mantle and wield shipwrecks to be used as projectile weapons in battle.

Sex change

Na Kika is able to change its sex from male to female and vice versa at a whim.

Strength and combat

Na Kika uses its tentacles in combat, which are strong enough to shatter bullet-proof glass with ease, as well as being capable of dragging down an entire marine Monarch outpost.

Suko

Suko is an ally of Kong.

Mini-Kong

Son of Kong

Relationships Kong (father-figure)

Suko is a juvenile primate-based creature with a general appearance similar to that of Kong. He has gray skin, green eyes, two short legs, two lengthy arms, and a scar over his right eye extending down his right cheek. The coloration of his fur is orangish-brown, similar to that of the Skar King.According to the packaging for his Playmates figure, Suko is a “scrappy fighter […] with a bad attitude who always has Kong’s back.”According to the packaging for his Playmates figure, Suko is “a scrappy fighter with raw primal strength.” Despite his young age, Suko showcased a considerable level of strength, for he can effortlessly use his arms to throw large rocks.

An evil alien dragon who invaded Earth in the ancient past, King Ghidorah clashed with Godzilla and Mothra, who succeeded in sealing him away beneath the Antarctic ice. The organization Monarch discovered Ghidorah’s resting place in the present day, and established Outpost 32 to study him, dubbing him “Monster Zero.”

Ghidorah is an ancient creature who was feared by many ancient cultures and was said to have been a “dragon who fell from the stars”, suggesting that he is of extraterrestrial origin.

Abilities
Gravity beams

Monarch describes King Ghidorah as “bio-electrical.” Monarch scientists theorize that King Ghidorah’s scales are gilded with trace amounts of aurum which act as conductors, capable of carrying bio-electrical currents throughout his body. This allows Ghidorah to conduct electricity through his body and project it in different ways.

His signature attack is spitting bio-electrical golden gravity beams[27] from each of his mouths. These are powerful enough to tear through buildings and disintegrate human beings. The fronts of his necks glow yellow while charging this attack. This attack is also shown to cause physical harm to other Titans. With only one shot, Ghidorah was able to shoot Rodan down and a concentrated barrage was enough to disintegrate Mothra. This attack also had enough force to drive Godzilla off the ice during their first battle in Antarctica, though it does no lasting damage to the Titan. He can charge his gravity beams far faster than Godzilla can charge his atomic breath.

King Ghidorah can project lightning from the tips of his wings, albeit only after absorbing a large amount of electricity from Boston’s power grid.[29] In addition to damaging aircraft it strikes, this lightning blinds and temporarily stuns Godzilla, allowing Ghidorah to press his advantage. This ability damaged Ghidorah himself, scorching small holes in his wings, which were quickly repaired by his regenerative powers.

Flight and atmokinesis

The muscle tendons in King Ghidorah’s wings are described as being incredibly hyper-tensile, and their massive aerodynamics could generate hurricane-force winds when flying. When combined with his body’s electro-receptor molecular biology, water vapor in the air would be superheated, creating a localized storm system as he flies, equivalent to a Category 6 hurricane. The power of King Ghidorah’s flight is so great that as a result, “the stratosphere would be torn open by an otherworldly tempest of thunder and lightning [Earth’s] sky has never seen.”When he assumes the position of alpha Titan, he begins creating multiple offshoot storms around the world. The novelization notes this on its own would be enough to cause the Earth’s biosphere to suffer an extinction event even without the other Titans contributing to the destruction. King Ghidorah flies at a speed of 550 knots, or about Mach 0.8, while all previous live-action incarnations of the character could reach at least Mach 3 while in the Earth’s atmosphere. Nonetheless, he was able to swiftly carry the 99,634-ton Godzilla into the troposphere before dropping him.

Alpha call

After the Oxygen Destroyer forced Godzilla to retreat from Isla de Mara, King Ghidorah established himself as Earth’s new Alpha Titan and unleashed a call heard around the world compelling dormant monsters to awaken and destroy humanity. Rodan, already active, worked closely with Ghidorah as he invaded the United States. Only Godzilla, Mothra, and Kong resisted the call.

Intelligence

According to cranial scans, King Ghidorah has a divergent frontal lobe density in the brains of all three heads, indicating that each of his heads can have disparate levels of cognitive functions, possibly including independent thought. Monarch has determined that each of King Ghidorah’s heads exhibits its own individual personality.King Ghidorah shows his intelligence during combat, such as when he bites down on electrical wiring during his battle with Godzilla in Boston, allowing him to temporarily stun his nemesis long enough to subdue and incapacitate him. While attempting to free his other heads from Mothra’s silk, the right head was able to recognize Godzilla was behind him by looking at his own reflection. Realizing that he was overwhelmed by both Godzilla and Mothra, Ghidorah wisely calls in Rodan to keep the Queen of the Monsters occupied. King Ghidorah also recognizes the ORCA frequency as a potential threat and makes several attempts to take out the source, such as when he destroys the Fenway Park speakers to cut off the sound.

Telepathy

Ghidorah’s heads communicated telepathically with the other due to the massive lengths of their necks.

Physical capabilities

When not using his gravity beams to attack from a distance, King Ghidorah uses his jaws in a similar manner to a snake, biting and grappling opponents. He also has the ability to constrict an opponent with his three necks and two prehensile tails, even strangling Godzilla at one point. He also has retractable spikes on the ends of his tails, though he seems to prefer using them as a threat display. His strength greatly outclasses that of Rodan, as King Ghidorah was able to easily restrain the Titan’s wings with his left and right heads, allowing his middle head to fire a Gravity Beam at him. King Ghidorah is also shown to be capable of lifting enemies comparable to him in size with his tails, as seen when he carries Godzilla’s 99,634-ton body up into the atmosphere in order to drop him. However, he was only able to do this by absorbing massive amounts of electricity and stunning Godzilla. When he landed after this attack, his wings effortlessly demolished two tall buildings.

Durability

King Ghidorah is immune to conventional weaponry, and is also able to withstand a blast of Godzilla’s atomic breath at point-blank range, though it still pushes him back. Due to his extraterrestrial nature, Ghidorah is immune to the effects of the Oxygen Destroyer, which seriously injured Godzilla and killed all other life within a two-mile radius. King Ghidorah was seen using his wings as a shield to protect his heads from missiles. He tried using them to shield his heads from Godzilla’s nuclear pulse, but they were unable to withstand the intense heat and were incinerated. Strangely, the middle head of Ghidorah is the only part of the three-headed dragon to have withstood Burning Godzilla’s nuclear pulses, though it would be destroyed by Godzilla’s atomic breath moments later. Ghidorah’s long-dead disembodied skull retains active neural pathways that are used to control Mechagodzilla, and the creature’s consciousness remains attached to the skull and eventually takes over control of the mecha.

Regeneration

King Ghidorah possesses an exceptional healing factor. After having his left head severed by Godzilla, he was able to completely regenerate it in a matter of moments. King Ghidorah’s heads is severed and a new one grows, “the newly regenerated head retains the memories and personality of the old one. Most of Ghidorah’s neurons are scattered throughout his body and limbs, much like an octopus.”However, he needs to absorb radiation or electricity to do this. During his final battle with Godzilla in Boston, Ghidorah regenerated holes and tears in his wings after absorbing electricity from a nearby power substation. Though his regeneration was unable to keep up with Burning Godzilla’s nuclear pulse, he survived having his wings, two of his heads, and the entirety of his body incinerated by the attack, and was only finally killed once Godzilla burned away his last head. Ghidorah was instantly regenerating any other wound or injury Godzilla was inflicting on him.

Energy absorption

King Ghidorah is able to absorb energy through his mouths. He is shown doing this twice in his final battle with Godzilla. At one point, he bites down on a nearby power substation and absorbs the electricity, which he projects through the tips of his wings. Later, he constricts his necks around Godzilla before biting down on him and draining his atomic energy. The energy is visible coursing through Ghidorah’s necks as he bites down on Godzilla. King Ghidorah absorbed radiation from the Isla de Mara volcano to provide the nourishment necessary to regenerate his severed left head.

Weaknesses

While a skilled fighter on the ground and in his element when in the air, King Ghidorah demonstrates considerable difficulty when fighting in the water, as shown when Godzilla dragged him underwater in Mexico and nearly killed him then and there if it were not for the interference of the Oxygen Destroyer. His regeneration takes time and he wasn’t able to regenerate his wings and left and right heads after they were disintegrated by Burning Godzilla’s nuclear pulse, nor when he was reduced to a single head before Godzilla incinerated it with his atomic breath. Godzilla also comes close to matching his strength. Because each head is capable of independent thought, they may become distracted and require the dominant middle head to get their attention and give them orders. However, all three were distracted by and pursued the ORCA when they had Godzilla at their mercy in Boston, giving him time to recover and ultimately leading to Ghidorah’s downfall.
